I've been trying to find an older version of Quickfit so I can do that... =(

Also, loading a character (Rather than importing XML) seems to freeze it, but this may just be me.

i've been using version 1.2 until today, when i have downloaded the 1.4 and just wanted to task if the "old" elegant ui has been removed alltogether or is there any way to switch it on ? i quite liked it

I've been wanting to expand the cap simulator into a more feature rich combat simulator for some time. The ability to put your ship up against an NPC or another alternative fitted ship would be really great. However until Rahzelk shares the QuickFit source code or CCP open source Dogma it's not very feasible.

Just back from holydays.

1.4b is out as soon as I saw much people claiming a fix for the skill bug.

It works now. Just press "Apply lvl" after entering the skill level you want and after that press "refresh tree".

Approxomate training time bug????

I have Electronics upgrade 4 and in game my training time to lvl 5 is 12D 16H 6M 19S

Using quickfit to see my skills needed for a certain ship and training time is says my training time for Electronics Upgrade 5 is only 17H 47M 04S

This is clearly not right........did I do something wrong or is there a bug in this feature?Confused

Sounds great, shame i cant get it working. Why not spend a little extra time on a real install faq. You take it for granted that people should already have a certain level of computer expertise in java when most in fact have none. Take screenshots of the procedure, and over simplify it. Im sure in the long run, a faq like that would cut down on posts like this.

Actually you just have to install JRE from sun downloadable at java.com. After having installing it (basic windows install), just unzip QFit anywhere you want and launch it. I hardly can explain more, and it is not ironical Sad

If it doesn't work this way on your computer, it means you already have done tweaks and it often means that a JRE install as no secret for you... (still I'm not ironical).

Is there any way to set all skills to maximum? For some reason I have never been able to acces the my character part of EVE-O and eve-mon has never worked for me. I have alot of skillpoints so everytime i download a new version i set all skills to max to save me trouble.

Hi all,

I have some questions about Quickfit 1.4c:

(1)
In 1.2 it was possible to start multiple instances of Quickfit. This was great to compare fittings. Now in 1.4c it isn't possible no longer :(
Halp! Is there a way to get this behavior back?

(2)
While testing a dreadnought fitting, the siege module had no effect in the 'stats' section! The average DPS value is the same - with or without fitted siege module - with every weapon type. (I checked the 'Activate special modules' option)

(3)
The button 'Set skills to maximum level' in the skill section doesn't work. I just wanted to check what I can do in 4-7 years :)

Any ideas?

Hi all
Iv got a question
I have exhumer 5, and when i get into my naked hulk, its showing 37.5% shield em resis, but in quickfit, it says it should be 46.88%
But, if anyone checks the show info on a hulk, its 37.5% as standard, so is my hulk bugged and im not getting my 5 levels of ship bonus's??

Sorry if its already been mentioned, but Auxiliary Nano Pumps don't receive a stacking penalty in the current version. Wasn't that changed in a recent patch?

And Nanobot Accelerators don't seem to get applied at all.

Ok, just got a reply from the hulk petition

Hi.

The Exhumer skill does not give you an increase in resistance.

Hulk Description:

Exhumers Skill Bonus: 3% better yield for Strip Miners per level and 3% reduction in Ice Harvester duration

You get the resistance increase from the mining barge skill and that resistance is precalculated into the ship (because you won't be able to fly the ship without mining barge level 5)

I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

Question: With the recent implementation of Rev2, should we just wait for a Quickfit update or is there any way to help or is it possible to change module stats myself?

e.g. CPU of armor hardeners changed, etc.
