Dr Pepper. the pure cane sugar version, not corn syrup.
coke and pepsi=lose. pepsi's only contribution to the world was Mountain Dew, and the Trinity of Sub-Dews. Code Red, Live Wire and Pitch Black.

I prefer coke.
1. Coke has a caffein free version [ heart problems cafein = bad ] 2. get a bottle of pepsi overnight the pepsi changes flavour to a syrupy sickening flavour. it take 2-3 days for a bottle of coke to do the same. 3. coke is more refreshing.
Dont get me wrong i like the tast of pepsi but after 1 hour the tast begins to change if only it lasted betterand came in caffein free version. |

Confirmed Pepsi drinkers couldn't either. They both taste the same, for all intents and purposes.
Then those results never included the people that did find their brand in the test. Like me and my m8. Your statement is wrong 1st because i picked my brand. 2nd my m8 did so too. Also i think that if you take fresh drinks from the glass bottle then there is always a big difference. After a few hours both are ruined. |

Dr Pepper is made by Dr Pepper. distributed by Pepsi trucks in some places, by Coke trucks in other places, but thats only because they cheap out and buy space on the trucks. Tek works at 7-11. Tek Knows a few things. we make payable slips to Dr Pepper Bottling Company. Dr Pepper owns Dr Pepper. simple. and it rocks. rawr. |

Originally by: KingsGambit In the UK, Pepsi make their cans from steel, not aluminium, and they get warmer faster than Coke which is rubbish really. From a can, I'll choose Coke...and Coke out of a chilled, glass bottle is pure bliss. But any other time I prefer Pepsi, just tastes better. Shame they use rubbish cans that don't stay cool for long
That makes no sense. Aluminum transfers heat far better than steel, which means that an aluminum can of cold soda in a hot room would warm up faster than a steel can of cold soda in a hot room. In fact, aluminum is the third best heat conductor of all metals (Except maybe for some special high-tech alloys or something, but I doubt even that). Silver is the best, followed by gold, and then aluminum. I have no idea where steel ranks, but it's not even close. However, I completely agree that soda out of a cold glass bottle is great. Not that I'd drink Coke or Pepsi. Coke is not great, Pepsi is worse. My favorites are Barq's Root Beer, then Sprite. The only other non-alcoholic uncarbonated cold drink that I drink on a regular basis is AriZona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey. It's goooood ::sips:: |

When it comes to transfer of heat, I believe that Copper deserves a mention in that list as well. Its not as fast a transfer as Silver or Aluminum, but it holds more heat and pulls it away from a source of heat faster than aluminum, it just doesn't transfer it back out as fast.
Oh, and Pepsi and Coke depend greatly on the delivery method. Pepsi from any fountain is good, and the only ONLY way to get the real intention of Coke is to have it from a Mccy D's fountain. Their extensive partnership allows Coke to give McDonald's the best possible syrup, stored in stainless-steel drums rather than plastic bag/boxes. The mix ratio is also strictly controlled at McDonald's, and you can tell. Pepsi and Coke, both from the bottle or can, pale in comparison to their fountain fore-fathers...

I like coke. Last week I was drinking 20oz coke bottles. I ran out and figured I'd just use a 2 liter pepsi I had and fill them up/ pop them in the fridge. Bleh The pepsi just tasted bad. Coke is more crisp and tastes like a cola should taste. Pepsi goes flat very fast and tastes kind of bitter compared to coke. That said, Pepsi used to be my favourite a few years ago, but I only ever drank it fresh from a 1 liter bottle. Now I only buy coke. |

Sh!t, I think I made a mistake...I was confusing electrical and thermal conductivity again...for thermal conductivity in metals, the list should be Silver, then Copper, then Aluminum. For electricity, it's Silver then Gold then Copper. My bad. |

Your sample size is TWO. In controlled, double-blind tests, people identified their favourite brand correctly, 50% of the time, and incorrectly, 50% of the time. That's exactly what you would expect to find if nobody can tell them apart. Conclusion: to all intents and purposes, nobody CAN tell them apart. If you have similar studies with different conclusions (and a sample size that isn't laughable, such as upwards of 10,000) ... get back to me and we'll talk. |
