Hi guys,

I'm planning ahead and already thinking of what BS I would like to fly (still pretty noobish but learning fast :)

My goal in the game is to be an independent miner/builder and my plan is to buy a decent battleship that would serve as a very good miner, but still be able to solo 0.0 systems and defend itself against NPCs and Cruiser PCs when necessary. I'm not planning to get in fights of agression with other battleships.

It occurred to me that the Dominix has enough drone space to max out mining drones AND some serious combat drones, thus allowing the pilot to mount 4 mining lasers and send out the combat drones to take care of pirate spawns or unfriendly PC cruisers/frigates. What do you guys think of this assumption ? Plus I really like the look of the Dominix for some reason, but that's a very subjective issue...

Any comments or suggestions on this thought would be appreciated.
