I want to build a tech II ship, I need certain components.

Do certain NPC corp agents give out certain components?

T 2 components arent given out by npc corps anymore and are only player made.

Hmm, thx.

Been forever since I've run missions...

So what good are agents anymore, standing & making ISK?

Making isk, basically... lots and lots of isk with level 4 security or internal security agents. On a par with mining Croke but much less boring (especially in lower sec systems where you stand the risk of being ganked if your mission happens to be near a warpable objectVery Happy).

I got a +3 will imp offer from one of my agents the other day and made 60MISK and ~10'000m loot by my lvl4 agent in 6 hours. Once i found a 425mm Prototype and a arbalest siege in one can. Agents are fun and profit and will be nerfed soon.

I fail to understand why people think mining should be the only profitable thing to do in EVE. OMG, missions are on par with mining, NERF it Shocked

Risk vs. Reward. Mining is... sorta.... risky. Mining the good stuff is. Or can be. Sometimes it's totally no-risk. Missions are usually risky, but that risk can be mitigated in the same way that the risk in mining can be. The only difference is that you can do missions alone. That can make you a lot more money, but ... yanno.. its ok. Missions are tough, and not as much fun to do alone as with a group (in my opinion) so...

Anyways. If you want to build a tech II ship, put up a market buy order for comps. If you have the blueprint, good for you, if not, you'll need that too. Those are astronomically expensive and rare. Don't expect to get one just cuz you want one and have money.

I have a souce for the BPC...

It's the 49 mill I need to buy all the comps that I don't like so much...

If they just move the level 4 agent into low sec space or even straight 0.0, that should even out the "risk vs reward" for mission runners vs high end miners.

I think they even mentioned that in the last Dev Blog....

I think you are mistaken. No, I'm sure you are wrong. They specifically said this would not happen.

Risk / reward has been changed. More ISK and LP in low sec already.

yada yada yada, repeat etc....

Thats a pity. Try scoping market for what other people pay. If you plan for a HAC, 49 is a giant savings and I can't say I feel sorry for you.

Just as a side note - I take it the would be builder has the appropriate skills to build it.

Yes, this char has the skills to build the HAC for my PVP char...

I'd just like to be able to get the parts myself, instead of pay these ludicrous market prices...

I'm the builder, ^ he's the pilot...

I guess I could look at market buy orders instead of sell orders...

I don't like to wait though...

Well I could suggest then if you can go down a level and build the compenents then you would save a few isk.
It may speed up your waiting time a bit .but not sure if peeps do t2 comp bpcs.
Good luck in your building

You know how to make the components dont you Bhaal ?

POS -> moon mining -> simple reaction -> complex reaction -> component.

That string, times the deifferenht components you need (which se alot fo differetn moon materials) = forget about making the components.

You could however get lucky and find them cheaply somewhere as leftover mission rewards. Not likely tho.

I'd nuild that hac now, chances are its only going to get mroe expensive in the near future.

I assume since I can buy the advanced materials, and component BPO's, I can make my own components in a station factory? (not at a POS?)
