Ok, just got my Osprey and threw in 3 minner II's. Can't get the 3rd Minner II to work, the first two are a drain on the the capacitor. I got a Cap recharger I in the mid slot and a Power Diagnostic System I in the low. Any advice on what to get so I can use all 3 minner II's?

Surprisedtry a large cap battery and cap relays.

The best thing would be to up your Enginering skills, specifically Energy Systems Operation and Energy Management skills.

At least try to get those two skills to level 3 or 4, you will find your cap holds out better. Also, instea dof using Power Diagnostics, try Capacitor Relays. They are low slot and give you a higher recharge rate than Power Diagnostic units.

Capacitor Relays? Should I use 3 in the low slots? Do they stack? I have Energy Systems Operation and Energy Management skills at 3. I just bought a large cap battery. Thanks for the advice so far. The game is kinda over whelming for a newbie sometimes.

Thanks. Looks like the relays worked. Couldn't get enough juice to bring the battery online though.

Actually, if you cant get the third miner II to work then a CPU may be needed (co-processor) To recharge cap you need cap rechargers, you can stack them.

If you have cap problems, it's also better to don't activate all your miners at the same time. With three miners, activate one every 20 second. They have a 1 minute activation duration so you will spread your cap usage a little bit as well which gives your cap the time to recharge a bit.

I can't imagine that cap is your problem here. Like somebody else said, you're probably running out of CPU. On the ship fitting screen, strip all your fittings and try putting in the Miner 2's first before putting everything else in. I think you'll find that not everything will come online. On my Osprey, I have to leave a few slots empty because the Miner 2's are CPU hogs.

With all 3 Mining lasers active, I never run out of cap.
