Hello,

I purchased a character from the character Bazaar a few years ago, and I noticed when I did a search through it's assets that I own a mining barge and a whole bunch of blueprints, but the problem is that it's 55 jumps away at a space station deep in 0.0 space so I decided not to bother with it.

It's been 2 years now, and I'm a much more daring person, so yesterday I made the 55 jumps all the way down to the 0.0 space station only to be told that I was denied access to the station. My question to all of you is... How can I gain access to this station? Of course I petitioned a GM and their response was that my denied access to my assets was "part of the game" What? really? How does that work?

I managed to avoid getting blown up by all the crazy people down in low sec during my 55 jumps to 0.0 space only because I was flying my covert ship with the cloaking device.

How can I get my stuff?

Thank youSad

This. Join the Corp/alliance that owns the station.

Or just sell it in place.

Region: Feythbolis
Constellation: RHG-40
Solar System: SP-AIP
Space station: SP-AIP X - Run run run

There's a mining barge, a whole lot of blueprints and other items that are useful.

I'm already in a corporation, and I can't even gain access to the station; I'm denied docking, and also I can't afford to go looking for people who are part of the corp/alliance down there. From what I've heard and seen people pod other people for the lulz the moment they encounter them in 0.0 space.

Here's the message i received from the GM:

"I'm afraid that since having assets locked down in a station is part of the game, we will not be able to intervene here.

You will have to find a way to recover/sell those items from in game."

Yeah, then just sell it. It's 'found money' right? Isk you didn't expect to have? Price it to sell and take the isk.

All of those are good ideas.

Now in 0.0 we don't always do it for the lulz, we shoot you down and pod you because you shouldn't be in our space. =]

I thought characters were supposed to be transferred without assets, so you shouldn't have them anyway?

If you can't access a player owned station (they built it, why should they let you in?) I believe you can train the marketing and day trading skills and sell them where they are.

That's a shame because while I was down there, and cloaked I did a tour of some of the asteroid fields, and my mouth was watering over all the exotic ores. It would be nice to mine some of that stuff without having to keep a watch out for the crazy people who like things that blow up from jumping me.

Then you should apply to a corp in that alliance that hold sov in that area so you can get the standings to enter that station.....then problem of no access solved. And new problems begin!Very Happy

This man has it, or even, create an alt and get the alt in corp that can dock there.

I would put up a max-duration courier contract with a reward that's a sizable fraction of what it's worth to you to get it out. If it's not worth it to somebody to carry it out for you, then just contract it in place ("Hanger clear-out") and take what you can get.

This is a common situation. Player decides to quit or whatever and sells toon with assets stuck in a remote player-owned station in sovereign nulsec.

In order to dock you must either be in the owning corporation or be in an entity which has docking rights. This is typically any corp in their alliance, or an ally with sufficient standings.

In this case, the station is owned by Against All Authorities. So you shouldn't have trouble finding a corp willing to take you, especially if you have the abiliy to do something useful for them. In this case, mining from your desription.

If you don't wish to stay in nulsec, you may be able to negotiate temporary standings so that you can get your stuff out. But doing that entails actually moving it all, and as you indicate, moving large volumes of stuff in nul can be dangerous. You may also fall victim to a scam, though I've not heard of AAA doing such things.

You could pack it all up and put out a courier contract. Remember to set a sufficient collateral. Otherwise someone WILL take it and keep the contents. This seems to me to be the best option.

And of course you could just remote sell everything.

Whatever you decide to do, for the love of god, remember to check if those are BPOs, or copies.

Nobody seemed to have mentioned it, but have you tried negotiating with alliance diplomats for passage? I'd have talked to them first before talking to a GM.

I have a market alt that can sell the items for you just by stepping into the region, contract the items to me and I'll take care of the sales.

I can dock there and I will move your stuff to Stain/NPC 0.0 if you like. I'll even do it for free. Contact me via EveMail to work something out.

If you can't get them out, just forget about it. If you bought the charater then all it's assets were supposed to have been sold off and all ISK transferred out anyway.
