CCP:
A reminder... the players of EVE Online would like to be able to purchased +6 to +10 implants for a combination of ISK and Aurum. We want this to remove ISK from the game and keep the economy balanced. Also, because the implants can be destroyed we would need to eventually repurchase the implants, further removing ISK from the game.
We can already purchase SP in the form of the Character Bazaar, but this would just allow more specific customization of our characters - which will make us more interested in staying in game. This will also bring in more income for you (CCP) which will allow you to stay competitive and avoid being eaten by a bigger fish. Win for all!
PS: Incursions need a nerf. Nobody should be able to make billions of ISK per week with minimal investment and minor risk. Incursions are not an ISK faucet, they are a fire hose!
Cheers! |

Edited by: Ressiv on 28/08/2011 17:03:05 I dont think anybody wants to use aurum for that kinda crap (or at all for that matter) .. and it is a major imbalance for the not so wealthy .. so meh .. I dunno who you label 'players of EVE', but count me out.

Not true, I and many others like me want this to provide game balance. But thanks for your opinions and great suggestions to improve the game! |

Then it wouldn't be MT. Since you only keep going on about ISK, rather than cash, it is quite apparent that “the players of EVE Online” do, in fact, not want MT of any kind. So, bad troll for not even managing to use the right word. |

"a combination of Aurum and ISK" would require Aurum... which is purchased with cash (real world currency). I see this as an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. The well rounded balance aspect could possibly open peoples minds to the idea. Thought I made that clear, hopefully this explanation has helped you understand. Thanks for the feedback, and for caring about the game! |

…which doesn't change the fact that you're talking about ISK sinks, and that no, “the players of EVE” do not want MT. Quote: The well rounded balance aspect could possibly open peoples minds to the idea.
Maybe you should add something well-rounded and balanced then. +6–+10 implants (to say nothing about insinuations of bying SP) don't really qualify. |

If your idea is so universally wanted, might I ask why you're posting with your alt?

Glad you asked... You get 10.5 million ISK per character per site, max of 10 characters (for full ISK payout), if you are smart you can do a site in 5 minutes. 2 players can multi-account all 10 characters, making 5x10.5 mil ISK each. So that is 52.5 million ISK for each player per 5 minutes... do that for 2 hours and you make 1.2 billion... for one person. Lets say you aren't that efficient.. then you only make say 1 billion or 900 million in 2 hours, still a great return. One of the reasons this is possible is because only 3-5 of the 10 man fleet actually needs to enter the site, the rest just sit on the outside of the gate and still collect the ISK payout. The multi-box players only need to control 2 of their 5 characters during the incursion but make ISK for all 5. Or if you just do it the old fashioned way, 1 player with 1 account, you could make 100 mil an hour. Get the idea? With all of this it takes a pretty serious mistake (like a disconnect) for anyone to risk their ships. It's also in high sec so no worries about gankers. |

Fear of retaliation against my corp mates from the bitter vets that hangout on the forums, duh. Another added bonus of MT is that the burned out old timers will leave (overdue) and quit bringing the game down with negativity. Would make the game more fun, etc. |

Duh. Because they only retaliate when they agree with you. You let other people's negativity affect you? Are you weak? Do you crave acceptance and approval from these bitter vets who are your corp mates? |

So, still not universally wanted, then. After all, if they're logged out, they pose no threat to your poor useless defenceless corp mates. |

This tbh. I put an alt in highsec just to run them 'cause the isk is ridiculous. And I'm in a C6 wormhole so you'd say I get decent isk here, but incursions are still better as an infinite source of sites with absolutely no risk for anyone with an iq above 70. |
