Quick question; would application of a scan resolution dampener on your target after it initiates targeting still extend his/her lock time?

Quick answer; I think so, but I'm not positive.

It should. If you activate a sensor booster halfway through targeting, the targeting time suddenly gets cut down. It should be just the opposite if you activate a sensor damp midway through targeting someone. Both module types affect scan resolution after all.

I guess the best way to know for sure is to test it out. Makes sense that it should be able to reduce locking time even during locking, though. ECM + sensor damps would be annoying as hell. When you miss a jam, your target would still take longer to get a lock on you.
