There is many Incarna related threads.

This one has only one purpose; to find out what people expect and want.

Please answer shortly as possible, using french lines.

Example reply
- Old hangar functionality
- Dock and stay in ship before entering CQ
- Separate gfx settings for CQ and space
- More functionality to CQ in general
- Possibility to totally opt out from CQ

Please do not explain why you wish the things you list or comment other peoples posts. There are plenty of other threads for that. Comments about how much you hate incarna or love it doesn't belong in here either. This thread is only about gathering basic facts and information. Keep it clean :)

- POD ROOM
- Dock and stay in ship before entering CQ
- All of the races CQ and the pirate factions CQ's
- Better lighting - avatar
- Separate gfx settings for CQ and space (dual screen)
- Some functionality to CQ in general
- Something with the videoscreen (streaming news/commercials or what not)

- Hangar before CQ
- Hangar with old functionality, spinner optional but not neccessary.
- Separate graphics settings to station and space.
- CQ being fully optional.
- Reasons to voluntarely leave ship.
- CPU/GPU friendly enviroment to chat and do s&i and market functions.
- More channels and possibility to play custom mp4,divx,xvid movies in CQ screen.
- Upgradeable corporate/alliance offices.
- Much more WIS functionality in general.
- Most old neocom functionality disabled after leaving ship.

-Oh the ability to change the screens or to select anything from them.

- Ability to repair my ships armor/hull from inside CQ manually for much less isk than 1-click repair. No netcode and saves 2 session timers since people usually undock with reppers
- 'AoE' voice chat room in incarna for each person. If you get close to another person/group, you can hear the discussion.
- Configurable facing position for our characters when loading CQ either down the ramp or actually facing our ship

  • consistency between the character creator graphics and the in station 'effort'.

  • shadows that have more than 100% on or off

  • optimised rendering

  • complete removal of station environments until they have functionality, or at least run smoothly

  • return of the old station hanger

  • a UI that is appropriate for station environments

  • quicker load speeds so as not to affect quick pit-stop type visits

  • characters that aren't suffering from knits

  • station environments that show some respect to the game lore, no dumping me out of my pod onto a balcony overlooked by the public

  • opening the esc menu in station doesn't cause my entire body to vanish leaving my toupee to hover around until I undock

  • some reason for using it whatsoever/some reason to justify killing efficient and processor-lite functional hangers that do not break the immersion of being a capsuleer

  • no NEX store, just let people pay with ISK and use PLEX if they wish to

  • ship spinning

  • option to hide the NEX store and separate the display of AUR in the wallet (that extra column in orders really ****es me off)

  • return the Gallente pleasure hub

  • return the Amarr chanting

  • While we are at it; Brown Dominixes, engine trails, old cyno's, old warp gate lightning effect and generally any effect that was removed in favour of some generic wormhole effect. Old warp scramble pulses. The old Scorpion

I would not have released Incarna until I had at least 1 fully functional station and/or every races CQ ready to go.

I generally like the way they're going, I'd just like the following

- in station default view of your ship in an animated hangar (like before)
- a leave ship button which loads the current CQ or
- an alternative static yet interactive CQ, say a 3D command room, which has all neocomm controls build into panels
- all races CQs
- customizable CQs (modular)
- panorama windows giving a real time view of the surrounding space

  • A NeX pricing plan that isn't ******ed
  • An actual functional decanting room for your pod that doesn't look like the pod model was just awkwardly placed there -_-
  • The previously mentioned by CCP idea of being able to rest your feet on an ammo crate Sad
  • Animations for actions (touching the hologram with your fingers ingame when you for example select something)
  • 1st person view, as 3rd person just doesn't make sense from a lore perspective
  • Moving the UI fully into the 3D environment (implying no functionality is lost)

I'd like to be able to jump up and down and run and put on facial expressions to express mood at a time and have face change a bit when you jump or runn etc.

Not just emotes.. take advantage of the sophisticated character simulation they have thath does many such things when you're trying to get the character to sit still for a picture.

Thats just being charitable and going along with their wishes and asking for things to make what they have decided to prioritze half way pleasant for me to use.

(i'm going to put asside all my bigger issues with game design priorty, a tendency to use sticks to beat players into the actions they want rather than drawing them to content by word of mouth and content fun to play)

Remove the decision to make it mandatory, instead of the for-years-promised optional.

Remove the decision to dedicate the majority of the EVE team to the project.

Remove the invulnerability of NeX items. If they can't be destroyed, then limit them to a single station.

Throw MT out of the window, it doesn't fit an open economy where everything is produced ingame.

We already see how MT-items are "out of the loop" of everything, its a pity that they are not destructible (like implants) either.

A large part just ignores them, CCP must be really proud of that (i pity the artists that put much work into them).

Id remove the whole damn thing. Walking in Stations is such a fluff piece of crap anyways, it was poorly introduced, poorly implemented, six years time in development for a buggy room? Come on. Also, this is EVE not World of Darkness tech playground. Get your Barbie doll bull**** out of our game.

Would it be to much to ask that the head of marketing and the NEX store move to work only on WoD?

- Get rid of the MT store, CCP have proven to be to incompetent to run one
- Make Incarna how it was envisioned with Ambulation, not this hack that has been made out of it
- Optional entering of CQ's
- Pod room
- Customization of CQ's
- Make it so you get a better sense of scale when viewing your ship from the CQ's
- View several of your ships in the hanger at once
- Destructable clothing
- Ship crew functionality
- Racial clothing via the EVE lore

Pretty much this, I have no problem with the future of WiS. But expanded options are a must. And ppl do like Incarna, there is no reason to dispute that, and they should not be neglected either. But space ships first, then we can play house.
