well not so good for me and not a real good point that LP is 2k cause it is an event that not so many time happens instead very rare to most carebear. so not a real solutions. also you don't count the real price of tag right now that are sky rocketed for most of us.

Firebolt145 your both right and wrong in the isk/h ratio over the long haul.

1.) The time it takes to move to market and sale.
2.) If a blue print the time it takes to build or find someone to build for you if you yourself or alt cant build.
3.) The time to do the needed research or the time to keep a hook up with someone/somegroup of someone's that do's the research and keeps on top of whats hot and whats not.
4.) The time needed to move hole missioning kit from station to station as you move from corp to corp for the what's hot.

When you factor all that in the isk/h ratio is just not that hot anymore.ugh

Sorry if you disagree but thats just how I feel about it. I am not blind.YARRRR!! I just have one eye coveredVery Happy

1 and 2 and 3 are all similar. Fortunately there are people out there who are willing to deal with all of this for you. You mission for the LP, they give you the raw/tags/whatever and bother with the manufacturing and selling in return for a small cut. You can still get good isk/LP with this (I know I do, even though it's obvious the guy I'm selling to is ripping me off with the amount of isk he makes...)

As for 4, I have moved once in the last 6 months. It does not take long to autopilot your mach and a hauler from point A to point B.

with rewards that downgrade your revenue of the isk for each LP

I agree that this is the kind of info you only deserve if you search for it yourself, but I'm still surprised you can get a 2k+ ratio today. I checked most harwirings, faction ammos, ships, and few of them where even above 1k. And faction items are a pain, they require so many tags, whose prices are very unstable, that you can hardly trade a decent volume of faction mods.

Still, it might be worth creating a sreadsheet.

I get 2k isk/LP right now, all the time, as much volume as I can make, in hisec. I have corpmates that mission in nullsec for a LOT more isk/LP, but this thread isn't about that.

I don't think I have faction and agent standings mixed up. Faction standings take FOREVER to go down, and as long as they are above 5.0, you can keep talking to agent.

edit: I should probably add that I was getting 2k isk/LP up to 2 months ago. Currently the price has dropped to about 1.5-1.7k isk/LP.

Are you getting 2kISK/LP as SELLING PRICE, or PROFIT??

Profit

Screen or didn't happen, go ahead and prove it! (Well, you won't cause that would break your profit, so I still can't believe that for High-sek, sry.)

My best bet is, you get the tags for free, and that's why your "profit" is 2k/LP.

If profit included tag prices, then you would be losing isk and would be better off just selling the tags.

2k/LP is possible, however, the volume is a bit limited due to the agent changes and due to several threads in the recent past detailing how to blitz efficiently along with LP conversion tips.

1.) The smart guys take the time to get the blue prints and avoid the tages when and were possable. To date I have not ever had to use a tag but I have not found anything worth spending LP/Isk+tags that was worth my time yet.

2.) Mission rewards are built to lower the payout including LP's based off how fast that mission is ran on avg.

So what did we learn by 1&2. 1 we learned that Mins&Most other resoures for building are cheaper then tags and 2 we learned that LP isk making in high sec reqs. alot of slow mission runners to help the fast mission runners gain ok LP's. Other wise LP's are much better gained in Low sec 5's Faction missions and Pirate faction missions.ugh

Edit: And mybe Incursion LP's too. But I can not personly speak for them as that's not something I have realy gotten into yet.Cool
And to also reinstate that the LP to isk/h ratio sucks pretty damn bad in High sec no matter how you go about it if you add in the time for travel/resurce/trading/manufactoring. How ever it is still a mostly passive income for mission runners and I feel it works well.

First of all, all you people calling bull**** on this are completely clueless. There are dozens of easy conversions at 2k or higher isk per LP. We're talking really easy for common, highsec LP. Rates go up as high as 20k isk per LP if you know where to find it (hint, still hisec) although as with anything there is lower volume and more waiting involved to balance out that higher proit.

Anyway, I see an opportunity here. I'll put my money where my mouth is. So here's the deal, you mission for a corp that I suggest and I'll buy your LP at a fixed price of 1.2k each. LP purchasing will be done through contracting tags required for the faction mod plus money equivalent to LP payment in exchange for the faction mod. That way you get paid as you convert with no risk of scamming either party etc.
PM me if you're interested and want to set up an arrangement.

On a slightly related brag, I'm the guy firebolt was alluding to who offered LP conversions although I've previously only done it internally to corp. My net worth is over 100b.

Ok, 2 questions:

- About the Isk/LP conversion rates, we are talking about tags real worth, right? As in, the lowest sell order currently on market, and not some random buy order that might completely screw up your calculations? I'm wary of the "what I mine is free" kind of reasonning.

- Why are you trying to use the opportunity you see in this thread to increase your sales volume while the market is small enough that it need time absorbing your current volume?

I'll let Kwark answer the first question.

But for second question - he quoted 1.2k isk/LP which is for a fast moving market. The small markets are for items worth 20k+ isk/LP etc. He obviously won't start sending people there to flood the market.

Obviously you factor in raw materials consumed (such as tags) at sell order prices into the equation before you calculate isk/lp rates. It wouldn't be an isk/lp rate if you didn't, just a meaningless masturbatory number.
My spreadsheet calculated isk/lp on hundreds of different conversions (market data + LP store data is all online, it's simple enough to do) and of those I use about a dozen different conversions for a number of different corps. I'd classify three of them as capable of virtually limitless volume at 2k+. By that I mean that the market for the raw materials is sufficiently big and sufficiently stable that you could buy as much as you could possibly require to convert and that the market for the LP product can absorb large volumes with stable prices. It's one of these that I'll set people to work on if they contact me. The more volatile and profitable conversions I'll be keeping to myself. The very best ones are sufficiently scarce that I can't get enough raw materials to convert even my own LP.

This thread motivated me to get started on my own spreadsheet. Took me almost two hours to shape it, get the conversion formula straight. But when I started including actual market values, before I had even 5% of the list done I had already a half-dozen ratios in the 1750-2250 bracket, decent volume, and one at 2850 isk/LP, tough very low volume, easily saturated. I stopped my research there for now, as this is already nice enough for me.

Making an effort do pay off.

Just One question :

I bet you get those conversion rate NOT by working for navy NPC corp or similar ? Those are likely some mining NPC corp or science NPC corp , where there's really less security agents . And i bet you got to buy the 5-runs BPC with good indu skill to get good rates .

But with the overhaul of missions agents , i think it's more easy than before to get these . Maybe i will think about it .

I rushed WC last night and have an isk/hour calculator that includes LP, and you can alter the LP conversion rate.

With 4 in whatever the new skill is, and in a .5 system...

80 mil an hour @ 1kISK/LP
123 mil an hour @2kISK/LP

In a 600DPS tengu. You could easily get 100mil/hour in a drake

That works out to 61500 LP per hr. I don't grind for ISK (just standing), so I'm not familiar with L4 payouts. How much do LP do they payout (in hisec)?

With Negotiation and Security Connections 3 a 6h mission gives about 7k LP.

No that works not out to 61500 LP per hr. Your math skills failed you I fear.

"80 mil an hour @ 1kISK/LP
123 mil an hour @2kISK/LP"

Which means you can get a increase of 43 Millions/hr if you double your ISK/LP, which means of that 80 Millions isk/hr only 43 million were actually isk from LP, which leads to the conclusion of just 43000 LP per hour. 6-12 missions per hour.
