right guys, i got my legion just how i want it. however, im a little torn on Implants. ( this will be used for PvP ) now ill try & use it for solo PvP, but the amount of pussies in game using their alts/buddies to blob u into submission these days, may prove difficult. Now, i know i can use the 100mn AB trick. what ive noticed, is, its actually quite brick like & not very agile  so, do i lose a low slot, fit a Reactor to fit one & have about 3 mins of cap, & use talisman implants for my single neut, OR use a deadspace 10mn AB, use a snake set & get relativly the same speed, be cap stable & more agile & replace low slot with a BCU for a better dmg output? I have a cap Injector just to top up my cap with neut/if i get neuted myself? What do u guys recommend? |

You have to tell people how you plan on flying the boat.
What role is it to serve?
I have 15 fits for Legions, and that is the fewest for any T3 ship.
Of the Legion fits, some a missile based, some are laser gank (well, not very good), some are tank, some are heavy tacklers, one is a killer neut boat.
There is no perfect fit. There is only the best fit for a specific role/play style. |

well, i use my alt to find ppl killing sleepers in WH's Classes 1-3.
so i warp in, & take them out. I even expect for reinforcements to come in & aid ( always expect the unexpected ), so i either need speed to get away from webbers if more that 1 target, or be in web range if 1 target only.
This is how it is now. i just need advice on the AB & Implants.
Highs: 5 HAMS, 1 medium neut
Med: AB, Warp Disruptor, Cap Injector
Low: 2 EANM, 1 Med Armor Repper, 1 Dmg Ctrl, 1 therm armor hardner & 2 ballistic controls ( dont mind losing one if need be for Power Diagnostic system for the 100mn )
Rigs: 2 aux nano pumps, 1 EM Rig
Offensive - assualt optimization
Defensive - nanobot Injector
Electronics - Energy parasitic complex
Engineering - capacitor regeneration Matrix
Propulsion - Fuel catalyst
Assume all skills are V ( which they are ) related to everything.
so as mentioned in post, be cap stable tanking & a 5m cap wither everything running with the 10mn AB with snakes, OR use 100mn AB with Talismans to cripple a tank fast.
im also open to suggestions on hardwires, including an Omega or not.

Your fit will run into trouble under any serious alpha. If I flew a ham legion I'd prefer either of the above. Second is quite expensive so downgrade where needed. As for turning when the AB is on, don't do it, turn it off, then align and burn. Slave set would be ideal since 100MN AB provides a lot of gtfo ability overheated combined with the scram+web. |

yes thanks for that rusty. but that doesnt have a neut in the high slot. & i dont particularly care what ship anyone flies, there initial alpha wont cause me many problems. im not after a gate busting setup, i did try the 1600mm plate, its very nice, but slows me down no end. them two fits arent what im after, but thanks for the suggestions  |

If you really must have such a fit, more neuts will be better to kill active tankers since they rarely rely on cap boosters and once the reps/recharge is gone they will pop fast. That plate will be essential if they dish more damage than you can tank so your not going into hull before your next rep cycle, remember sleepers target everyone. 10MN AB will be sufficient with such a long point provided your alt can land you close enough(30-36km) from the target. |

3 neuts seems to be a bi excessive & with LOL DPS from 4 HAM's would take me forver if my victim is plated up. i was after advice on implants more than anything with the AB mod. 3 neuts would probably kill me first...... |

This is what I used solo. Mind you, the 100mn afterburner makes alot more sense for close range setups like this one. Also, you can put a neut on there if you mess around with the subsystems. Whole thing is cap stable as is. I do have a Pilgrim and Pilgrim/Sacrilege like setup for the Legion, but you might as well go with a Pilgrim.
The only t3's I don't like using or will not use 100mn afterburner on. Is the Loki (Shield) and Tengu. Using 100 afterbuner on the other 2 makes alot of sense. Although, I've only used 100mn afterburner on the Proteus so far.
Anyways, I use Implants depending on what I may b engaging. I never really roamed with any t3, but used them to engage a specific fleet I might see while roaming in another ship. Snakes or Slaves is up to you. I also use a Missile damage implant and various implants to add speed and ehp.
Cheap version! The one I flew had more pimp. Alot more! T2 rigs instead, of t1 rigs and A type this and that.

You said ships killing sleepers, so nobody in their right mind would be plated up, and 400 dps is plenty to kill a pve ship without a tank. And if you have a **** fit like your suggesting, implants will just make you a faster or brickier piece of ****. Have fun being a lolmail to whatever ship kills you. |
