so, my corp was taking an extended vacation in high sec last week, and were flying through caldari space when we noticeed some industry corp carebears in their shiny hulks...
now i know what your thinking, we suicide ganked them, but no.
now these people apparenlty werent very smart, because we war-dec'ed them adn came back the enxt day, and they were still mining.
anyways, we were preparing to kill them when an idea struck me, why sully our killboards with crappy mining ship kills when we could make some money?
we warped in, webbed and scrammed about 7 hulks, broght them down to structure, and had one of our ORCA's warp in, and we told these carebears they better start mining and dropping the ORE so our orca can pick it up.
this went on for about 8 hours before we switched shifts for some corpmates to take over, and 3 days later we left the region with almost 800 million in unprocessed ore...
now, this wasnt much of a profit making evnture as it was me and my buddies enjoying being total jerks in high sec, and we didnt kill the miners because we figured we might need some money agin sometime, and they wouldnt mine for us if they knew we would kill them anyways. |

How did you hold them for 3 days? Daily DT would surely break this off if nothing else?
Also, wouldnt holding someone for 3 days break the EULA?

it worked because we had them in low structure, i already said that, and held them with scrams, and as i also stated, they werent smart, every day after DT they logged abck in and went mining, where we waited, so its really them being masochistic poor people not us "illegally holding them" |

No one in their right mind would accept being slaverized in this manner. Perhaps they might come back the next day not expecting to get slaverized again. But the third day makes this too incredible to believe.

On a side note, if the Hulks were macro mining into a jet can(s), then this could totally be done. Warp in, point, web, set keep distance and just steal the ore as they mine it. |
