After teh incarna release quite a few people have experienced the same thing I have. Pods seem not to warp out and in general, the agility of ships seems slower, and the ui seems a bit sluggish:

I haven't been doing much pvp because of this. Has this been fixed or otherwise addressed by ccp?

Note please do not complain about eve in this thread. I just want to know if ccp has fixed or stated when they will address this. thanks

If it's a bug, I'm not PVPing 'til it's fixed!
If it's a feature, I'll deal with it.
If it's a bug "working as intended", I'll facepalm and rage for a while, then give in.

I've had it happen twice. By the time I get to click my UI and have it do something. I'm already locked and some tard is ransoming my pod.

I think this is a consequence of some fixes to large fleet warfare lag reduction measures.

maybe your skills aren't being applied.. which that is probably it, I seem to be missing skills that are trained. unfortunately nothing on my end will fix this, and ccp will just say everything is working as it should be (lie).

I'm confirming this, or adding myself to the list of people that have been noticing problems. I've been in aligned and warp drive active for a while and still get killed (not fleet fights, very small php). And even after losing my ships and spamming warp with my pod (still aligned) gets popped. And I've never really experienced this until recently. Needless to say, I'm kind of disappointed.

I had this happen to me also. After entering my pod after a ship exploded the entire UI locked up for so long i had plenty of time to try everything in vain before i was popped. Couldn't even double click on space to move. Just sat there, perfectly still. The guy who got me wasn't even that good.

I made a thread about it a couple months ago, and submitted a petition bringing it to their attention, to no avail. Ended up quitting FW because i can't afford to lose sets of +5 implants so easily.

I guess they did nothing about this problem in the latest patch?

Will they make the ui responsive enough so pods can warp away again, or are they leaving it like this?

Just looking at the killboards for low sec roamers its pretty clear there are allot more podkills.

Turn off camera shake.

I lost a couple pods before I figured that part out.

+1

Corpmate of mine lost a pod last night due to this; the spam warp trick doesn't work like it used to. Also, the couple-second pause after jumping during which the UI is completely unresponsive is quite irritating.

My bet is on the responsiveness of the UI as well.

It's the same thing when I'm trying to close a window by clicking on the little "x" in the top right corner; the "x" goes away, but the window stays and I need to click outside of the window first before the "x" reappears. Second try usually works.

The last two times my ship was blown up, I had to spam the warp button multiple times before I went anywhere. Makes me nervous.

I don't think you guys understand. Everything locks up for at least 10 seconds. Even mousing over things in the overview doesn't highlight them, and forget about opening up drop down menus. It would have probably even remained frozen for longer, i can only count the 10 seconds it took for the guy with no sensor boosting of any kind to target my pod and pop me after my ship exploded. It took him two volleys to finally kill me. Confused

We've all dealt with 1 or 2 seconds of unresponsiveness before from well known issues, but this is something monumentally worse.

I had the dscan button freeze on me as well. It acts like I hit it but the display doesn't change - even after i jumped into another system.

Has ccp even acknowledged a problem with the pods not warping and other ui glitches?

Someone said don't spam the warp out button...but if you don't you leave it open to get caught.

spamming before hand works as always.

someone said 10s above, post the logs or gtfo, 10s is much much longer than i have ever seen. Plus, in 10s you would be dead, soo......

Having said that, UI has seem to lock up a bit more than usual, like 1 MAYBE 2 sec.

The one thing I have notice that I can't reproduce consistently is that if i pick a celestial (lets say the sun that is 17 AU away) and hit warp (no prespam) AFTER my ship blows up and I get my UI back i get a strange error message. "You cannot warp to the given point because of your distance to the object" or something close to that (at work not at home so I can't pull the logs).

Only happened twice that i have noticed (both recent). First time i got locked and podded, second time i selected a new celestial and was able to warp (pilot had to have been slow). Thats about as close as i have seen to this problem.

I was dead in that time, and it was the longest i've ever seen, too, which is why i tried to bring it to peoples attention.

In all my years playing it's the only time i've made a petition and thread about a game error. I don't even flinch over 1 or 2 second delays, and i've lost lots of ships and pods yet never complained. This truly was something else entirely.

It would be really tragic if this issue is being swept aside simply because everyone assumes it's just the usual complaints about being podkilled.

you make it sound like it only happened once, not like it s happening all the time. Most people are talking about an increase in the delay but no one is making it sound like there is a !10! second delay. If that was a one time occurrence, then it is a bug and deserves to go under the bug reports. If its happening to you every time you get podded, have you...
cleared your catch?
reinstalled the client?
filed another bug report?

10sec is definitely NOT what i have been experiencing

I only let it happen once. I haven't put myself in a position where i can lose more implants since.

It also happened to a friend of mine in game, about 2 days after it happened to me, and it was that which made me go ahead and make a thread and petition about it. I wasn't quick to do it. And after my thread and several others i've seen many who've had a similar experience.

Anyway, it was months ago now, and i don't even care that much anymore, so i'm not going to argue with you. Just stating what happened to me in case it ever gets looked into, and maybe warn others.

Confirming... UI freezing up at session changes (ship being blown up, and ending up in a pod gives session change)... its only for a sec.or two... which results in you being locked before you can click anything

I think when you spam warp before you blow up, your pod is actually warping before the ship blows up or something.

You can't wait for your ship to blow up before you start spamming warp and you never could. The UI will lock up on that and always had locked up.

But now even when you do it correctly - spamming warp before your ship is down and after, the pod seems to sit there for quite a while. A few times I still got away - perhaps luck or they weren't looking for pods.

I was caught by a merlin without a sensor booster. That shouldn't happen if the warp outs are registering properly.

This crap is how I lost my crystal implants (and a few missile ones)

I was spamming the warp button all through structure, my pod was "warping" but they killed me.

I already petitioned it and was turned down. "Nothing wrong with the server" Is what I was told.

There isn't a problem with the server. The problem lies with the poorly updated UI that is unresponsive and liable to get you killed.

Yup. UI is less responsive since Incarna. Also when it comes to activating a salvager shortly after looting a wreck. Sometimes the command won't register at all.
