I think I've done something wrong but I'd rather not go into detail, could someone please post really high shield regeneration Drake fits for PVE? And just out of curiosity would anyone mind posting a typical Drake PVP fits?

7 hml II, 8th utility slot players choice, me a tractor or salvager

slot 6 optional, tp or ab (I like ab for gate crawls and a half assed speed tank)

rest spr's II (can be t2...but compare against beta's....numbers might suprise you)

7 hml II (8th slot utilitu is your choice, tractor for looting a nice thing if it can fit)

Mids:

1 mwd II (or high meta, jsut have skill for t2, I liked high meta myself)

Rigs:
shield extend
em resist
thermal resist

PVE drake for lows pick what you need more. Tank or gank. More gank 2 bcu. More tank 3 spr's.

PvP drake fit is a fleet runner where you have numbers. Not the best solo option. Rigs can be to taste, ones I put to fill in the em hole and deal with the fact amarr not exactly rare on the battlefield.

replace t2 with what you can fit as always and if your corp is down with non-t2 drakes in fleet.


edit: forgot drones....empire bear, hob II's, out in 0.0 I ran warriors II's jsut incase I got caught sleeping for a chance against tacklling frigs.

I can completely t2 fit a Drake, so that's not really an issue. Also, would you guys mind posting the shield recharge per second you get with you PVE and PVP fits? I would very much appreciate it.

Shamelessly stolen off far better PvPers than I. Best with loki links, but works without them. Kites like a boss, nukes tacklers, ****es off a lot of old school PvPers for reasons I don't understand. Only has about 84 passive recharge, but that's not an issue for any kind of real PvP.

With a PG implant you can upgrade the HML to a seventh HAM.

This kind of fit is best employed for killing other BCs that aren't shield Hurricanes or nano-Drakes. It was brutally effective back in 2007-2008 as it can kick the face in of an armoured Harbinger or Hurricane. Unfortunately, nobody really flies armoured Hurricanes any more, and with ACs better than blasters at being blasters, nobody really flies close-range fits any more either. It isn't a good fit to use against modern BCs - shield Hurricanes or nano-Drakes - but it still has its uses.

Speaking of shield Hurricanes, one thing that they don't like is tracking disruptors. A cheap T1 TD platform is the Arbitrator - but here's a Drake fit that's better than an Arbitrator at being an Arbitrator:

I like the TD/HAM setup for a close range brawler, TD helps encourage targets into scram range and helps reduce damage as you close.

Tight on PG, requires AWU V and Shield Upgrades V or you will need a PG implant.

For exploration combat sites I use a MWD range tank setup. Sadly lacking in PVP gear, a quick trip to the station to switch out some mids and you are ready to rumble when targets present themselves. NOTE: this setup relies on MWD to outrange NPC's while soaking up the initial punishment on buffer. This setup does not rely on passive shield regen to tank. Posted fit is for Sansha/Blood Raider space.
