In honor of the ongoing grand opening of the Noble Exchange, Noble Appliances is providing a special gift of 1000 Aurum to all registered capsule pilots. Please visit your local Noble Exchange retailer (found in your station services sidebar) to peruse our selection of top-of-the-line attire.

Aurum (AUR) is the currency used by the privileged and powerful to conduct transactions outside the framework of the standard DED ISK infrastructure. It is the sole currency accepted by the Noble Exchange for their goods and services. To acquire Aurum, you can exchange a Pilot License Extension (PLEX), bought online or on the in-game market, at the rate of 3500 AUR for 1 PLEX. All the related commands can be found in your Noble Exchange retail interface.

The Noble Exchange is the high-powered professional’s premium clothing and apparel outlet. We carry the latest styles for the upper echelons of spacefaring society, as well as more esoteric designs of exceptional rarity and refinement. Quality is our hallmark, class is our brand. Command admiration as well as respect – pay us a visit today.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of the GalNet capsuleer museum, a repository of the episodes and encounters that make life among the stars into the unique experience it is. Have a look, stay a while, and add your own experiences.

On behalf of the Noble Exchange,

Darmad Cirshan
Chief Operating Officer

Now... I didn't quite like the Aurum store in first place, but were willing to live with it. Having NeX posters when logging in was already bit annoying. "EvE is real"-sites player driven advertising scam was step further into the swamp... But this is plain outrageous. Now tell me how I can opt out from all aurum marketing. I can opt out from direct marking in real life, so I expect that to be possible in game also.

Thank you for ****ing me again with dear CCP :excellence: Hilmar's vision.

If you don't like it send in a petition. if enough players petition perhaps then CCP will stop this crap. More petitions = bigger work load = longer response time.. This will look bad on the internal figures and is thus bound to be noticed.

Sell somewhere else!

While I do appreciate the fact that you are trying to make a name for yourself by creating a new product and using a sales pitch stating that it is only for the rich, powerful, socially desirable and best of the best, I would appreciate it if you would refrain from contacting me in the future.

My purpose in this universe is to fly, fight, f*** and die for whatever cause I feel is worthy at the time. I do not and will not have any interest in the wares you and your cohorts peddle. In keeping with that, I would appreciate it if you and your associates would refrain from contacting me again for anything relating to the Noble Exchange or Noble Appliances.

In closing, I would like to remind you of an adage that has stood for countless centuries: Clothes do not make the man.

HAHA!! CCP = a joke!!

"Fly in style!" is such a ****ing moronic thing to say when the garbage NEX doesnt even include a new ship paintjob!

BTW, you can actually block the sender thus avoiding these spam mails from CCP in the future, unless they opt to circumvent the block :D
just right click senders name and choose block.

More that you don't actually wear clothes in your pod. But income is more important than an immersive gaming experience when you're a marketing ****wit who doesn't give a **** about consistency.

one in-game mail constitutes as spam? I think more than a single message has to be received for it to be spam, by definition...

It is a spam if it is coming from unapproved source and sent to multible mail accounts, which have been collected from some list.

If some player would choose to advertise himself, for example while applying for CSM, by same method, it would be spam also.

In addition to this, this evemail ignores the "Block Unknown Characters" command that would stop evemails from random players you don't know.

It uses CCP tools to bypass the evemail spam preventer.

I'll do the same as soon as I log in.
Having the NeX ingame in itself does not bother me that much, it's like Jehova's witnesses being around. Live and let live, they don't bother me I won't bother them. But when they ring my doorbell day in day out despite me and all my neighbours telling them to **** off because we're not interested, then they get annoying.

Since it is one message sent to every single active account in the game, it is the textbook definition of "spam".

As I can't justify the expense of Aurum, are you telling me that I'm underprivileged and weak?

Way to insult a paying customer.
