I ended up getting CONCORDed and the CEO got away with his Orca in hull. What exploit is this? Is it an exploit to kick somebody in space, or is it an exploit to kick them in space so that they get CONCORDed? I did not lose sec status for it. Update: The Orca pilot has admitted to exploiting, but then edited the post: http://www.eve-search.com/thread/1558360/page/2 Originally by: Orion Dreadstar Hi everyone, I was the pilot of the orca in question. Simply put, Honest Jill (at that time ToryAlexander) was a newly joined corp member. We had recently instituted a policy of giving very new members no roles until they prove to be trustworthy. This was not known to "Honest Jill" because we were griefed before by a friend of her's, and adjusted our policies to prevent such events. I was using my orca to haul, when "Honest Jill" jammed and attacked me. I chose not to attack back because i knew it would have been futile anyway. At the time my orca was set up for simple mining boosting and hauling, not concentrating on defense. We attempted to kick her from the corp. since she did not have any earned roles yet, and low and behold, the game allowed us to. The next thing we knew, concord showed up and saved my Orca. Thank you CCP and CONCORD
Update 2: I got my ship back and Orion Dreadstar has not logged in since. |

And here all this time us folks in 0.0 keep getting fed the lie that blue tacklers have to be docked to be kicked from corp. Something foul is afoot. |

The clean hands doctrine is a rule of law that someone bringing a lawsuit or motion and asking the court for equitable relief must be innocent of wrongdoing or unfair conduct relating to the subject matter of his/her claim. It is an affirmative defense that the defendant may claim the plaintiff has "unclean hands". |

Of course the obvious question is did you have any roles.
A. You never had ANY roles which is odd. B. You had your roles revoked which takes 24 Hours, so hardly a no notice kick there. C. You can petition CCP to kick somebody from a corp that never docks, that takes time though to process.
As others have said, there is a lot more to this then your 2 line statement.

You can't kick someone from a corporation while they're in space.
They need to be docked for you to do it, game mechanics give you an error message saying it's not possible when you try it.
0/10. Crappy troll thread.
On the remote chance it did happen you should file a petition and submit a bug report.

This actually changed about 2 or 3 patches ago. It was essencially a change to the corp management tools to allow for roles, memberships and other activities to be accomplished while in space. The reasoning for this was actually solid. Supercaps had to leave their ship unpiloted somewhere and dock to change stuff. The new feature was to be able to leave and join corps while in space and still piloting your ship.
With this change CEOs could kick people without them docking because the change over effect no longer initiated on dock. |

Betraying your corp you deserve everything you get. I join a corp i'm 100% loyal to them, if i decide they are no longer for me i leave , if i decide they're so bad i want to shoot at them i leave and join a corp that's willing to dec them. |

In the end it's win some lose some, when you try to apply strategies that involve clever use of in-game mechanics. |

Just did a quick test, and it's now perfectly possible to kick someone from corp while they are in space. Not sure when this was changed. |

I've failed to kick someone from corp in space (sitting at POS) quite recently. Patch notes, or you're talking out your arse Lithalnas |
