Often warping from stations means unrealistically warping through the station itself. How hard would it be to code having a ship begins it warp in an and arc that makes it miss going through the station?

You enter into a warp tunnel when going into warp.

How else do you explain going multiple times the speed of light?

What about the planets. I can't count how many planets I flew through since I started playing eve 7 years ago.

Imagine what its like for the PI colonies, you would "see" a spaceship flying straight through you.

For RP reasons, when you are warping you are using quantum mechanics to take a shortcut through spacetime, rather than using classical physics an attempting to move in a straight line at near light speed. The warp bubble exists on a different plane than the rest of the galaxy, thus why it works the way it does. This is in the backstory -> Scientific articles.
