Can someone who works for CCP tell me, if they work on the old hangar as promised? What is the reason that they do not use the old established and efficient hangar view, which was BEFORE the Failcarna Patch?
Please implement the old hangar which was usefull and functional. No one can tell me, that this will last another few month of development. The old hangar was existing. Use it as it was 1:1 without any "you will like it very much" changes.

Feedback from any CCP employee is strongly requested.

Add: the reason to do not make Incarna optional because it should be consistent is just a dumb and easy to rumble point. Following this argument: we shouldnt be able to dock at a station before Incarna. Because it was never intent to have a hangar. It was always the goal to have walking in stations. This is crap. We had a hangar and we should have a hangar furthermore until the end of EVE.

CCP told the CSM in the emergency meeting that it would be put back. No idea on a timeframe.

Would be much better if they would simply put the old one back with a 'enter the station' button that loads you into CQ.

HOWEVER - I am sure CCP dont want to do this because as it stands, nobody would bother using the CQ because it has no purpose (until players can meet in station, its useless). CCP want people in there so we will buy princess-sparkle outfits for ourselves. Hence I predict quite a wait for the spinning.

CCP Flyingscotsman said in the recently audio interview, that the old hangarview as such wont be back.

They will do some look-alike with the ressource hog called incarna, so what we'll end up with in the best case scenario is something that will look remotely like shipspinning, but will make your GPU fan howl like a banshee (gtx 570 in my case).

I'd rather keep the door tbh, but Flyingscotsman remained adamant on the fact that they'll remove the option to disable incarna altogether, because "it's one game".
That logic is entirely flawed, as FW, Incurions and wormoles are also "one with the rest of the game", but do I have to be forced to do any of them? Should we be?

I guess not.

What some in CCP don't seem to get is how lots of their customers play their game. When I get home from work, I log in two or more clients in windowed mode and pretty much treat them like browser windows, occasionally checking if there's anything interesting going on.
I even have two clients running when playing other games (no problem so far thanks to 8 gigs of ram) - can't use an entirely unnecessary ressource hog lagging my system, regardless if it looks like barbiedoll or shipspinning...

After two or three minutes I have disabled the CQ in the ESC menu. Now I have to stare at a dumb, rusty and absolute sh!tty door.
I think CQ has potential. But now, at this point of evolution CQ is absolute useless and a total bad joke, compared to the announcements which has CCP made and had promised what QC would be.
Some months ago, I saw an video where a developer docked at a station and:
right click -> leave ship; right click-> leave POD.

I think THIS would be or MUST be the only way to enter the CQ or the stations. Any other ideas which forces me to dock, go to shower and clean myself from the POD-goo, dress my char, refit my ship or something else, undress my char, crawl inside the POD and mount the POD to the systems of my ship is just silly. Confused(Hm.. maybe this is the reason of the relative long loading time)
I do not wish to leave the ship every time I dock just for refitting my ship.

To make it short: I have disabled the sh!it anyway and I want to choose when I go and walk in stations. It is my decision; not the decision of CCP. I will have a look at this thing when I see a benefit. The only thing what CCP can make to reassure the upset people which think like me, is bring back the unchanged old hangar. Fans of CQ will continue using CQ. But all the others can play EVE as they wish and as they know it. And the reason to do not make Incarna optional because it should be consistent is just a dumb and easy to rumble point. Following this argument: we shouldnt be able to dock at a station before Incarna. Because it was never intent to have a hangar. It was always the goal to have walking in stations. This is crap. We had a hangar and we should have a hangar furthermore until the end of EVE.

A expansion should EVER bring new content and not take known content like the hangar which was OK all the last years.

They want you to stare at your cell door while you are docked.

No answer from CCP? That is poor.

I support this in principle. The new CQ just seems to waste resources without giving us new functionality. Also, I liked seeing my ship in full view... now it's tucked in a corner of the available station view.

The old ship hangar view was exactly as useless as the current door view, regarding their functionality aspect they are both equal

Wrong development. They have to work on it untill there is an acceptable solution.

There are NOT. Double click at your ship does not exist with the stupid door. Right click on your ship to open the drone bay is not possible. To know what ship is active, because you see no ship but an useless brown door, is not possible. There was ever a hangar in EVE. And it should be stay here! And I do not like to get forced into one direction I do not want.

No don't go back. If you don't like looking at your cell door and the missing food slot. Then go back to wow.

I never had a WoW Account. I never played this game. Sorry. Your argument is not valid.

want to open the drone bay quickly.. hover over the holowgram on either your coffee table or the balcony and push the dronebay button
want to know what ships active... look at it floating over the balcony or the holowgrams
want to spin your ship?. yeah ok no dice. but 2 of 3 isnt bad
