I think they should make militants, and other such items in eve, Bots in Dust. If
Your Dust corp needs reinforcments ask your eve friends to send down like 100 militants, pilots, ect. When and if they arrive they act like npc bots for the players in Dust. Would add alot to the game i think for eve and dust players alike. It would also add some value to these items in eve

I can see pople trying run blockades in eve by suiciding ships in to drop in these assets for dust players. The reverse could be true as well, dust players could try to evac a planetthat has a failed/failing campaign and the only way to move (the bots) is with an eve player running them out. With dust ability to influence sov and PI (?) i think eve players would have a vested interest to see their dust brethren succeed and extra guns will always do that.

Yes, feed the MT machine even further. I'm sure that would be an addition to the NeX store. You know, status and all. "Look how many additional troops I can provide!"

We don't need CCP cutting out the player anymore than they already are.

I like this idea in spite of the apathetic response from the community so far.

It may prove hard to balance though. But still - another interesting way to weave the two games together.

Nah.

I have a lot of spare militants. I would like them to attack a random Dustie when i send them down. Epic win. They donīt have to come back, though.

I endorse this viewpoint. As Eve players we should fund the Dusties as our minion ground armies. We should be able to feed them endless supplies of militants, marines, rifters, etc, and have them count as lives in their little ground wars. I don't care if the ground war goes on for weeks straight. They're our minions, let them fight for our scraps!

Thank you.

As i only tried for two days to set up colony on a planet, i couldīnt care less whatīs going on "down there". Massive waste of SP (training time). And so my miltants may have *some* use. On the other side, they can have my janitors too, to clean up the mess after the havoc.

That sounds good....until people start dropping thousands and thousands of them, which, if allowed, they would do.

Also, just a dust question here. How does respawning work in dust? That doesn't seem to follow lore, because last I checked, when you died you were dead, unless they're buying clones, but then does that mean they have to buy a new one each time? Or if they just enter a "new" body, as in a completely different person, then they shouldn't have any of the things their last person had as it is a different person, correct?

My army of Janitors/Homeless need jobs.

Just think......DUSTers will be fighting their battles when suddenly they'll be distracted by Exotic Dancers and Prostitutes (a very bad lady) :D

Filthy console peasants doing our dirty work already and we can help them with hundreds of thousands of clones. How about slaves too? They have lower armour, but if 1000 slaves come running towards you and your mercenary band only has 20 guys it looks grim. Not grim for me, as I am in space in my revelation, shooting at the guys I hired, just for fun. They don't even know why they're there.

Jaded much? yes, becuase CCP added vanity items everything automaticaly becomes a MT transaction... right. I mean its not like you can buy those vanity items with in-game isk as well... oh wait. Please go troll somewhere else, if you dont like the game your playing why are you playing it...? it really is that simple.

On another note dropping in some exotic dancers for a succesful campaign for the troops below should be mandatory Smile
