does anybody use this item for anything reasonable?
Looking at characteristics i see 5kCPU instead of 10k on standard device and 1 second less recalibration time.
Price on contracts starts from 49mils. So i'm pretty sure this device isn't supposed to be used in stealth bombers =) |

Pilgrim is quite tight on CPU with Recon Level 4 and a normal CO cloak
faster locktime also helps |

I thought it was way more expensive (maybe it was some time ago?). For 50m, I would use it on a Falcon. |

yeah i remember them going 500m to 1b when they were introduced in loot tables
i remember that you can only get them from a specific agent-in-a-ship.
must have been a cosmos agent or epic arc one
but that info is really really old, the price indicates they drop more often now |

Actually no, but more people have farmed cosmos. Just one agent giving them away :) |

You hit the high points right there on why someone would use one. 1 second less recal can be a big difference. With recon IV a tech II CovOps cloak is 100 CPU, smokescreen is only 50. |

Its only one agent, Akemon Tolan, who give the cloak away, along with the 8% akemon armor implant.
He sit in a deadend system with no station in in the okkelon constelation, but you have to pass one lowsec to get there, its usually camped by Idle empire, but if you scout with a alt first it should be no problem getting in or out.
I think you need a standing of eight or higher to run his mission. |

That mission is definately worth running, that implant sells for upwards of 650m. 8% increased armour is a good implant to have, so you may just want to keep it for yourself |

Once per character, assuming you have standing to get mission. Not repeatable. |
