Hey guys I'm looking to make my main source of income from probing, hacking, salvaging and running dead space complexes so I was wandering what is the best ship for the job?

Thanks :)

the answer to your question comes down to 'what do you want to do?' It also depends a bit on primary race of the ships you can fly.

For Highsec exploration you want some sort of Cruiser or Hac if you have the skills. the goal here is a combat ship that can also have a probe launcher on it. You may encounter some sites too small but Most a cruiser will fit in.

For lowsec a BC works well though again some sites it will be too large for.

for nullsec it comes down to ship skills really.

I use an Ishtar for highsec myself

T3 will be best for high-sec - it's the only ship that can have the improved probe strength (to my knowledge), as well as the ability to do anything you'll find in high sec (with the exception of a couple ship limited sites).
