I was curious if putting those dampners on my tower would be worth it? The White Noise, spatial destabilization arrays, etc work?

Each race has sensors based on different technology.
* Amarr: RADAR (weak vs. white noise)
* Caldari: Gravimentric (weak vs. spatial destabilization)
* Gallente: Magenetometric (weak vs. ion field)
* Minmatar: LADAR (weak vs. phase inversion)

Sensor Dampeners help defend against long-range sniping attacks on the modules. You can fit 2 of them for every ECM module, but ECM is better at all ranges.

It is a good idea to have a mix of defenses.
