Come on! How hard is it to pull out your boreland c++ compiler or vistual studio compiler and throw us a 64-bit binary too, called exefile64.exe :)

Those who want better performance through improved process memory handling, sign our petition!

How often are you in a situation where you need more than 4GB of memory to run a single Eve-client. Most of the physic and heavy calculations are done on the server which are already 64bit.

Aside from not really needing to, CCP already explained that one of the reasons they haven't done this is because they rely on 3rd party components that aren't available in 64bit.

huh? lengthening pointers to 64 bits just takes more memory, and bandwidth. Clearly, sir, you do not understand how computers work.

HOw about you let people CHOOSE what they want. If you didnt want to run a 64-bit binary through your lack of knowledge and ignorant sense, you could have just kept running exefile32.exe, if you knew anything about computers. This would include your knowledge of a 386DX and 386SX, both technology from 1990's and not as good as 64-bit memory handling.

If you knew anything about 32-bit vs 64-bit, I'm tired of running exefile.exe as a wow64 SUBSYSTEM.

No, Kid, you dont boggle my mind when Ive been doing A+ for over 20 years and you're probably younger than 20 years old.

would render a 64-bit client inoperable, I choose the 32 bit one. It may have flaws but at least it starts (most of the time).

…you'd know that there would be no practical advantage for EVE going 64-bit, even beyond the fact that it simply wouldn't run as De'Veldrin points out.

pure 64 binary would be nice,
it would also mean my pc wouldn't have to run a 32bit process to host said 32bit binary, and just run in pure 64bit.

I have to agree...we are not asking if its possible or why it wouldn't work. We are asking you to "Make it so number one." Its time for a 64 bit client.
