I am currently located in a c3 wh(not that it matters), but i keep finding enemy pilots in sb's snooping around for a week or so looking for easy kills. Most of us fly bc's and bs's around most of the night while continually running the combat sites. Ive been looking for a good way to keep them out and cant seem to find an effecient way due to there cloaky capabilities. My question here is what is the most effecient way to rid them of our home lol. Some tips would be nice thank you.Crying or Very sad

The most efficient, sensible and intelligent way to get rid of them is to pay them off in the region of 300-500 mil depending on how many sites are left in your wormhole.

You're welcome

are the SB's uncloaking and attacking your ships while you are doing the combat sites? if they are, it may be handy to have a MWD rupture with AC's and a disruptor in the fleet to tackle and kill them when they uncloak. Ive watched it done. SB's never had a chance.Wink

Use an arazu with a sensor booster and some warrior 2s. They won't be able to cloak once locked, and the warriors will rip SBs apart. The arazu can cloak and follow you site runners, and the disruptor from 40+ km will eventually scare them off, as they won't ever know where it is. Use their tactics against them. Or pay them off, but you can never be certain that they'll actually honor the deal.

Confirming that ruptures are the perfect tag-along for C3s, will be able to kill a SB before it warps away (or outruns it), and will not DIAF horribly because this is a terrible idea.

SeBo Sniper Muninn could work. Does good alpha at 100k+ with upwards of 800 scan res and a half (2 decent tank. Couple of drone link augmentors and warriors IIs and the Stealth bombers will not be able to stay there very long. If they aren't aligned when they decloak they'll probably die.

Alternatively bring a nano interceptor or a dramiel. Bombers will find it very hard to operate.

Lol @ people suggesting you bring lightly tanked cruisers and interceptors into C3 sites.

It's not your home, it's their home now. Either leave or negotiate a tenancy fee.

Try a legion with the sensor boosting sub and 1 volley him with scorch when he uncloaks.
I remember doing this once when we were running c3 noms and I saw one pop up on D-scan when he jumped into system so I was ready to lock him soon as he decloaked. Good thing is you can run noms and make money as usual while waiting to do this

if you must use a BS don't go alone and just put some RR on them. 1 Sb is nothing to worry about.
A) he will realize he has almost no effect or...
B) sleepers will switch to him

C3 sites have very few sleepers that actually point. If you are alone and he is banking on the sleepers to deal most of the DPS and just hold you there until they kill you to get the kill mail then just use a heavy nuet on your BS. He/she has to get within heavy nuet range to point you. problem solved, no cap no point.

Why even post anything you know I'm right. If you have anything useful to add to this thread then post again, until then why don't you stick to reading only. Laughing

Overloaded T2 point = 28km. Assuming decent skills it'll take well over a minute to burn out.

Heavy neut range goes out to 25.2.

Well that makes a lot more sense when you say it that way lol. You are right, I'm not near a client but doesn't the nuet get a similar bonus with OH? Regardless, that would make the battle more interesting but the MWD or AB will burn out fast and drones become an issue.

Back the the point... If a single sb is giving you grief you need to stop running away and actively fight him until he leaves. Bait him or something, idk... But don't ignore him.

Neuts get a duration bonus. Great job throwing your **** around without even knowing what you're talking about!

I would suggest you get a higher classed wormhole that goes does not have a k-space static. Those tend to be a tad quieter than the ones that regularly go to k-space.

1) Fit long point to sleeper running ship
2) When he decloaks, stop firing and point him
3) Watch sleepers decimate him

Just give me your locus number and the current location of your static and I will take care of it for you for free. No need to thank me.

I was agreeing with you numb nuts. I said I wasn't near a client, or do you need me to explain to you what that means? I didn't have the convenience of triple checking my post for accuracy before I posted like you probably did. Laughing

I'd love to see you OH'ed point on a solo SB hold a compitant BS down long enough at a combat site.

After he warps into your site and bombs your BC / BS, just say in local "hehe, it tickles".

Seriously, it is a bit of a joke. You'd need like 3 or 4 of them to catch you off guard to pop something of yours. If you use different ships to loot / salvage (you should) you might want to keep the noctis parked and pick something with more tank. Pick someone with the fastest targeting speed and use SeBos / Remote SeBos to get a lock and pwn him. If you can point an SB, you should have been able to kill it by now. Alpha strike him.

A single bomb and 1-2 torp volleys are not going to destroy a Noctis, fit a LSE and an damage control.. I have survived 3/3 sb attacks, they never come in close enough to scram. Or just use a a BC to salvage.. keep the drones out. But 1 sb shouldn't be enough to stop you.. you may loose some drones and wrecks though.

Paying them would be the best way :)generally if you send around 700mil they will leave.

Also to the fool that thinks a bomb + 2 torps doesn't kill a noctis.... LOL

Lets not forget the pulsar effect :) esp in this worm hole. that 44% sig increase- can be a real killer.

You the fool bro.... Firstly not all wh's have the same effects, our C3 has none.. and if you could read you would have seen I have survived 3 attacks.. yes I was low in armor, think one was in structure even... but hey I survived. Its like saying a Cane will always beat a drake... don't assume anything in this game.. so in true form style... "YOU MAD BRO!!!" Laughing

Best solution is pay up.

There is very little you can do to a competent cloaky gang, they have all the advantage in WH space. Laughing
