Been having problems for a week or so now. Initialy was fine afetr incarna, not sure iof its onefo the sub patches thats done it or not.

everytime i log in after 2 - 5 mins the client crash's. Its almost like its lagging out then the client drops.

I've installed the latest graphics drivers, Lan drivers.

spec is

Intel I7 920 1366 socket cpu
asus p6t se mother board
6gb 1600mhz ram
powercolor radeon HD 4890 PCS + graphics card

tried various other games and they are 100% fine and totaly stable (some of which require way high specs than eve).

tried clearing the cache, client fix app. Just downloading the client again to reinstall and see what happens with that.

but has anyone got any bright ideas?

Same problem.
Client seems to freeze... sometimes it resumes the game but many times I get a crash to desktop.

I'm not surprised with the issues that people are having I run 2 clients at the same time and I find that's OK as long as both the clients are not in station, everything lags like hell then. I have to make sure one of the clients is in space or everything slows right down or stops, seems to me that with the amount of info needed to be passed down the broadband, it is swamping its ability, not everyone has the ability to get high broadband connection (mine sucks!) my comp should handle it no problem but being in the UK and out in the countryside I have no hope of getting over 2 Mb's instead of 20 MB that some say.
CCP the updates are great but don't push it so far that the countries where your clients are can't handle it!!

Add my name to this too. Same probs when in Captain's Quarters. Much better in space (though still happens on occasion).

Yeah.. same thing has been happening here. Sometimes its fine, but It happens often, and especially when I'm in station. Just last night I couldn't even undock my ship. I'm a new subscriber so I can't speak as to how it was prior to Incarna, but it looks like the problems described above are exactly what I'm experiencing. It sounds like a server side issue to me.

pretty sure its not the connection, im on 50mb a sec and normaly get 46-50mb on a speed test.

its def a graphics related issue on mine. as soon as station loads the fan on my grphics card goes mental, even with CQ disabled. strange thing is it worked fine for a while after incarna rolled out, its been since one of the mroe recent updates that its fried.

have to say getting very very frustraited now, i pay for two accounts and i can't even use the damn things, i'm still awaiting a responce to my petition

I think I have this problem, but to me a crash is something that produces a Windows level error or a hard lockup of the EVE client. What's happening, running two clients:

1. Modules stop working, I can click on them but they don't do anything and can't move ship.
2. After 5-10 seconds the whole client shuts down and I am back at the login screen. In station or out, does not matter. No error messages.
3. This "seems" to happen every hour or so and it alternates between the two clients, never both at the same time.
4. The forums are also really, really slow. Like clicking this link for this thread never finished loading. I had to manually refresh to get it to load. This forum problem occurred at the same time as my disconnects in the game client.

It would appear it's some problem with either CCP, my ISP or a route along the way. Was hoping it would just work itself out but now it's getting really annoying. I am going to test some other MMO's today and see if I have any issues.

Just posting that I have the same issue when running my two clients. It just started happening within the last week or two. The problem switches between the clients but it's always one that will just lag out and then drop back to the log screen. Sometimes it will sit in game for up to 3 minutes before dropping but I can see when the actual account logs out by observing it with the client that is still logged in.

This just happened to me, like 3 kicked back to login screen in like 10-15 minutes. I also tried running with a single client, no difference. Filed a petition, hopefully I can finally get to the bottom of this issue.

I am getting the same problem, especially when jumping to different station, thats where it happens to me the most. I downloaded entire package again, worked for a week then happening again. This is getting really old.

Any Fixes yet?

Nothing new, still no responce to my petition I put in over a week ago.

CCP's tech support ineptness seems to know no bounds.

So much for the 'improved comunication' mentioned as a result of all the incarna protests.

I'm suffering the same. Had it once or twice the last week, but today is happening every 15-20 minutes without fail, whether I'm active or not, in station or in space.

Mines every two mins, they asked me to stay logged in for an hour and record the crashes, gave up after 5 crash's, if they need more i'll run more but can't see the point in trying to go for an hour, would be 20-30 crash's.

guess i'll be waiting for another week or two to hear back now.

Well looks like my problem has been identified. its a port issue on my router.

the test i ran for ccp showed a 'socket closing issue'. tried a few things and finaly found linking my comp direct to my modem instead of via router has been stable for two hours now.

Im gonna do a factory reset on the router to see if that sorts it, if not them im kionda stuck and guessing i need to figure out execption rules.

o the port in question is 26000, which seems to have been mentioned previously.

My problem is that when i am in a station the char is all purple. It started after i made a clonejump and now its stuck that way. Everything else is fine until i enter the char creation, then the client crashes. Been like this for about 3weeks.

Same situation. Updated drivers to be sure, reinstalled windows at one point, ran memtest for days, etc etc. Still random crashes out the wazoo. I can just be idling in station and it'll AppCrash out. Filed a bug report, but it's always back to python27.dll and i can only attach 1 of the 60+ appcrash logs/dmps I have. I've done well beyond what any sane paying user should do, this machine was 100% rock solid until 1-2 weeks ago. Now it's unplayable. :(

Got the same problem here.

I login, I do one or two actions, then out of a sudden it seems the last
order isn't done... I wait because sometimes its just a simple lag.
And then finally the Client restarts back to logon screen.
Its a bit unfortunate, that this issue occurs right now because I transported some stuff around in low sec
and got killed due to that problem (you cant fight back or jump away very well while beeing loged off ;)

So I'm glad its not just me having this problem.

The Hardware didn't change, nor did I install any new driver.
I tryed to reinstall the game but that didn't solve the problem.

Specs:
Windows 7 64bit Ultimate
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
8GB RAM
Geforce 580 GTX
