CCP Navigator: "All issues have been resolved and Tranquility is now open." ~Posted - 2011.07.05 12:07:00

I hate to break this to you CCP Navigator, but you are incorrect. CCP has broken Eve again ... here's a thought; it might be a good idea to read the forums and see what the user base is writing BEFORE posting that all is resolved and TQ is up and running.

is it possiable to request a real money payback or equivealent (forgive spelling) payback because of all the issues in our playing time we pay you ccp real money for that we have lost including today? or is it you are truly afraid that even with your sticky posts and some stickys which say things are fixed(surprise yet again as they frakking arent!!), that we will riot yet again in the game for these reasons as well as the ones you have created yet again.
from a very curoius and very very dissatisfied customer of your product at this point!

Honestly, you'd probably have to hire an attorney in Iceland to sue them ... and I seem to remember reading somewhere in the EULA or TOS about grievance resolution. If you play you've agreed to the "contract" and it's usually win-win for them.

If you could go that route though, you'd probably end up losing more money trying a court case than you'd get back ... sadly.

Have you read EULA? It includes the normal disclaimers like :
"While CCP attempts to have the System available at most times, CCP does not guarantee that the System will always be available, or that the System will not become unavailable during Game play. The System may become unavailable for a number of reasons, including without limitation during the performance of maintenance to the System, for the implementation of new software, for emergency situations and due to equipment or telecommunications failures."

Go away

$14.95 for 30 days
$0.49 for 1 day
$0.02 for each of the 23 hours eve normally works, so how do you want your refund?

btw, read the EULA that you agreed to, before you think you're entitled to a refund

Have you read EULA?

Not only that, but how petty can you be? Even if he did manage to get your 50 cents back for an entire day of EVE gaming "lost" to this outage, it won't be enough to cover the cost of remedial spelling classes.

Confirming that the servers are down for 2 hours due to an optional update to bugs that should never have been included into a patch noone wanted....

Truth be told I'm usually pretty much even keeled about CCP, but this lack of communication here (now and just after the Incarna release) and on the Mac threads is getting pretty ridiculous. It only takes a minute or two for a single dev to write a post and say, "oops, sorry guys, we broke it, please bear with us."

CCP has "no plans" to bring the server online at this moment. They are tired of all of our demands for a visually pleasing game with good mechanics and customer support. They have all left to go play high-stakes poker in Las Vegas leaving a sign on the door saying "So long and thanks for all the ISK."
