I'm getting kinda irritated spawning behind the couch when I log in. Can I at least enter where I left, or within reach of the ship controls. I do not enjoy playing obstacle course with the couch every time I log on. How about sitting on the couch? In other games I log off with my toon usually in a specific spot for a reason, I do not want it moved while I'm offline. Thanks.

if you look behind you, it's supposed to represent that you just woke up and got off the bed. it makes perfect sense.

I don't mind it making sense, it's just irritating. For example, in any other game with an avatar, do you log off next to a mailbox or auction house, and log back in outside the city so you have to walk back in every time? No, you log off where you want to be when you return. I don't like resetting to a position where I can not access any controls without maneuvering around the couch or taking the painfully slow journey out to the hanger. It makes the transition from the quick and efficient previous interface even more painful.

From a role play perspective, Perhaps I did just get out of bed, but obviously they skipped me getting dressed, putting on makeup and doing my hair. Let's skip the part where I walk around the couch and instead find me just getting up and sitting on the couch reviewing my ship or agent journal.

I might as well add to this, after I dock I'm facing the wrong way, towards the quarters. 99.9% of the time, I dock to empty cargo or do something ship related. Why must I tediously turn around and get near the panel every single time? This is in line with my original suggestion, while these things are in an immersion sense cute, the cuteness is very rapidly gone and simply become tedious avatar chores to repeat over and over.
