Looking for a PI expert to tutor me to earn isk. I will reward you with isk for your efforts in teaching me some basics. I don't expect it to take longer than 30 minutes in a private convo. You can eve mail me your price.

My situation:

I have 5 accounts and eventually 15 potential characters that could do planetary interaction in an NPC 0.0 system that I am fairly safe doing this in and can extract the assets from easily. I just don't know what I should be mining to build and don't have a fancy spreadsheet for calculating my profit. If you could help me in these areas of knowledge / spreadsheets I would reward you greatly.

Mail me if your interested in chatting - I will login the alt when you mail.

Regards,

I

Try to be optimal and not effective. One ECU in 0.0 space can fuel up to 6 processors. You don't rly need more than 6. Try to have as much Spaceports as you can. With that many alts have 2 days cycles or longer. Having shorter cycles will only make you hate PI :D

If you are really going to use 15 characters to do PI you will want to make sure you have time to interact with your planets and pickup your products. I do PI with 4 characters making only POS fuels on 4/3 day cycles and it takes a couple of hours to pickup all of the products and get everything rebooted to run another cycle.

If you have a lot of 0.0 space to work in try to pick a single system do your PI in or at least 2 systems that are close together that you can easily get to and are near a station.

I would recommend setting up harvesting planets with basic processors to create P1 items and then 2 or 3 factory planets to make your finished products with that many characters.

I'd suggest 4 harvesting planets per account + 1 manufacturing planet (Level IV skills)

Harvesting Planets should consist of one spaceport, 1-2 extractor controls, and the rest of your powergrid on processors for T0->T1. Don't try to extract more than 1 resource on 1 planet, it doesn't work.

Your best bet for manufacturing is to go to T3, as it provides you the best compression for transport. T2 or even T1, however, will probably sell better. I mostly do PI for my own personal use so idk which is preferable for selling.

All depends on the resource(and planet) you extract and the cycle you set. One P0 resource is 0.01 m3, so that means you can fit a milion P0 there. I can see that on a half decent spot an ECU with a 2day cycle can mine 500k in 8hours (the whole 2 day cycle will extract 1,9M almost filling 2 launchpads).

That's why you grind to T1 on your production planets. Not sure how long exactly, but hisec it takes me several days (usually around a week) on daily cycles. You can always play around with extraction time to get the spaceports to fill right

15 characters doing PI is crazy. You'll go (more) nuts trying to do that much PI.
