I don't even know how to the quote thing right - real forum rat I am...

Somebody posted this two posts up...
"There are 4 to 6 thousand people saying the unsubbed, an are taking their alts with them, have they really? If so, prove it"

I proved it to CCP.

Even if EvE bleeds 15000 people, that puts them back one year, maybe two? I remember when their was only 30k people signed on, at peak hours. The server was hitting 50 to 60 thousand people during peak times just before all this started.

Is that 15k people or 15k subscriptions?

Back one year or two - ouch!

My goal is not to hurt Eve, glad to see them move on and thrive. I'll be with them as long as I enjoy being there. I will not be subject to game changing mechanics that are destined to have a huge detrimental effect on the market.

Lessee, bleed off 15k players (or maybe subs) by selling game changing advantage items not produced by the game economy .... or roll back a little and face... HEY! How many lost subs do the Monocle people promise?

This is deeply amusing coming from someone who has the time and energy to protest against people protesting.

Do not rage. The time for that is over. It had its effect and to continue would be silly.

Wait for the answers. If the answers are wrong, unsubscribe. If the answers take longer than end of day on July 2nd, unsubscribe.

Itís the only thing CCP will understand if they donít understand already.

Today was Canada Day in my country. Everyone got a paid day off. I went sailing with my GF and another couple in Deep Cove. It was a good day.

I still await the answers from CCP.

When I joined Eve it blew my mind, and this is the best MMO at this time. Hands down. IMO.Cool

I eager await the response from the CSM and CCP.

Lets face the facts, if non vanity MT is introduced some people will leave and some will stay.

I'm calling out all the veterans, industrialists, carebears, traders, noobies, trial accounts and join the last protests. These are our last days and lets go out with a bang. This will be a great memory in your gaming life. Seize the moment.

We will be bulls on parade

If non vanity items are not introduced ill see you around in space. Fly safe

Last stand has already been and gone.

If they chose to go play to win then its over. If what has already happened hasn't got the message across they are a lost cause.

Have your finger on 'unsubscribe' and move on to newer (not yet pooped on) pastures be it RL or other virtual realms.

Peace, out.

Edit: Clarification

There is no more rage. Pay2win=it's over for some of us. What they decide, at this point, only dictates how I speak of them, or whether or not I buy their future releases.

Confused

Nah. Early eve didn't even have things like warp to 0, skill ques or other basic stuff that we take for granted.

You're crazy. Warp to 0 killed off a good deal of gate battling and pirate opportunity, killed off the bookmark trade niche which I think was the main drive for removing the warp to 15, people were literally rolling in tens of thousands of BM's and breaking systems.

I totally miss Dual MWD Rupture setups and cruise missile Breachers. It beat supercaps, uberblobs and grinding POS hands down.

Now look what you did, you're making me all teary-eyed.

GJ I don't have a monocle; I'd be awash.

Felt the same way when reading that ... warp to 0 is one of the worst changes i can think of ever.

WE could probaly never wreck the game for good, but the people leaving can create a lotta havoc as we leave. Dont go out with a wimper, leave with a path of destruction and death in your wake. Then log off and go outside, and have beer, joint, and relax.

You went out on top.

ME ME ME ME ME ME me ... get over yourself dude.I sure hope you unsub because i'm gonna keep an eye on that one to return the favour of destruction and death.

As many said if you don't agree quit don't ruin it for others.I dislike the possible changes as much as you do but i ain't *****ing bout spoiling the fun for those who don't mind the changes.

Post your complaints and if they have no result just leave or as the other dude said solo-smartbomb yourself in some belt before you do but don't go all 'We all need to do this as brothers , because your leaving the game as such leaving your so called brothers , bro' .

This is a sandbox and The ones who are leaving can do so in any fashion. I propose on all out war on those who are left. Slave to P2W.

We will shut down the hubs, we will smartbomb your noobs and freighters. We will join your corps and kill your pilots ans empty your hangers.

Then one day our sub will run out and ill have a smoke, and think about my eve career.

Lol, stop being dramatic. The two scenerios are not even remotely close.

The game belongs to CCP effectively they can do what they want within reason. So the fact they're discussing it is good anyway. So if that includes banning people that are trying to undermine their company, that's fine they're entitled to do that.

Of course it's not nearly as dramatic. But when you think about it, it's the exact same thing. We EVE players are part of a universe we helped shape, more so than in any other MMO. It's really not that much different from a government/citizen relationship.

Protests have the exact same goal as well. People want change to keep their own universe in a healthy state. CCP has every right to ban people, just like governments have the right to put people into jail for protesting. And just as certain aspects of protesting might be against CCP's EULA, governments too have laws that might make certain aspects of protests (or all protests in some countries) illegal.

Still people keep protesting, and if you truely think that they should stop at the first sign of resistance, then yes indeed you do not know what protesting is all about.

1. Denial: "It can't be happening,it must be faked letters"
2. Anger: "Why me? It's not fair, they promised no MT! im gonna fire on statue in jita!"
3. Bargaining: "Just raise the monthly fee instead, vanity items only!"
4. Depression: "I'm so sad, why bother with anything? they are gonna stall and lie forever"
5. Acceptance: "It's going to be OK,i dont care if its just vanity/ bye guys im going to another mmo with ponies."

It's not about giving up at the first sign of trouble. I'm anti non-vanity items and I fight that corner, but I can't ignore the rights of the company and the other players that are not against non-vanity items or even indifferent to them.

Once they've made that statement, they'll most likely stick to it. They will claim of course that they had a fair meeting to discuss the issues.

So if you still feel about actively protesting ingame or deliberately set out to undermine the company and the running of said company on the forums (especially those identified as ring leaders), those people are likely to be banned.

Most protests end up in some form of compromise, with non-vanity items there is no compromise.

We will get our yes or no answer one way or another, it'll be in the statement although you might have to read between the lines, but I really hope it does not come down to that.

Once we know the answer we should be able to make an informed decision if to leave or not.

What ever CCP answer to the big questions are I m ready to either be happy and content or I will rage with my remaining time. This is an extrodinary comunity playing a great game. Dont go out with a wimper, leave your mark and Burn Eden. Then log off for the last time and take a long hot shower.

This game was ahead of its time.

Thinking the same thing. Why quitely unsubscribe if you can go out with fireworks and make it clear to CCP and the media that you do not approve.

And who knows, if enough people join in and the majority isn't scared of getting banned, CCP might have to act. Imagine the whole game being put to a halt by mass protests. 10k or more people crashing server nodes, bringing the economy to a halt or whatever else we can think of. I imagine this would be a lot more uncomfortable to CCP than people just plain unsubscribing, even if many here seem to think otherwise.
