1. Read the Forums, they are curently blazing away at a nice clip about what has been going on.

2. (and at the risk of sounding like General Windypoops) who are you and what alliance?

CCP has yet to confirm or deny what exactly they are planning but a series of leaked doco's & dev blogs has left players very concerned about the future of MT.

At this point it doesn't look good.

That's a massive simplification; the forums have been on fire for a week about this.

But basically, leaked info shows CCP has had internal debate about selling NeX items that will do more then make you look shiny.

This has unsurprisingly gone down like a lead balloon.

However, in actual fact CCP have been dancing around the issue and have not clearly said (as of right now) if they will do this or not; what a lot of players (oldbies like me especially) is that this is a massive change in direction from the CCP that we knew and loved.

Personally, I wish Oveur would post and say something that would reassure us.

CCP is switching from a subscription model to an "INSERT COIN" model similar to slot machines. They are trying not to be too rude and therefore introduce it with small steps in order to flush out all the hardened subscribers and without causing an up-rise (think of walking through a bird colony and making a sudden movement ... bad).

From now on and with each new expansion will you see little riots breaking out, with mobs shooting at various monuments in game and the CSM taking vacations in Iceland, but no real harm is being done.

In the future of EVE will the subscription model completely disappear. With the current step can players give their last shirts so to speak and receive new, virtual shirts, which is funny so players can have a laugh to release stress. Eventually will the cost of EVE be based on the damage done and damage received as seen on killmails.

This is the future of EVE.
