I hope it fills with Dev Alts, it would be sweet. Course since this is a pointless throwaway whine fest of a thread, they'll likely just let it die a slow death by itself.

"Spinning Ship Issue"

If you consider "Spinning Ship Issue" to be your main "issue" in your list of charges, then perhaps it was just your time to go. Maybe some people have played this game for too long, or don't know why they play this game anymore, or why they play games in general.

Just sayin'

Why is it harder to:

1. see what ship I am in
2. Change what ship I am in
3. open the cargo of the ship I am in

oh wait I'm not in a ship because ccp wants to sell more pants.

easiest way to do #1 & #3 is use the "fitting tab". As for number 2, I just use the ship tab. Forget about shortcut keys.
As far as spinning ships goes, forget about it.Twisted EvilYARRRR!!Razz

In general things are going acceptably so far; Zulu is very direct and communicative and helpful. We're about to go to dinner as a group.
I think many of the controversies can be resolved with more clear comms from CCP. So there's progress. I'm just ****ed at the whole mess.
Anyway, I don't think EVE is going to blow up but there needs to be some serious 'apology school' action from the company to the players.
"ok" means that the summit is very informative, but what we learn doesn't always please us. vOv So far, there's progress.
Zulu never, ever brushes me off. He's direct and gets things done. I adore Zulu. Shame about his MadBlog but he's good for the game.
We did discuss ship spinning with CCP and what I heard pleased me. One of the bright spots. Can't say details. vOv
I don't get the impression that Zulu is anyone's tool. I walked out of May with a very +++Zulu feel, still have that.

I feel the same way, to a degree. I think MT needs to be ALL in or ALL out. And then let me as a player choose if i want to play your game. As it is now, they are just insulting me bytrying to like sneak stuff in and force me to like it.

I really really really liked the Spinning ship doced aspect of the game.

It was a lot of fun fitting ships. Thinking through whatever i was gonna do next. Picking the right ship for the job, and then fitting it.

I would actually Strip my ship every time i docked, just so i could refit it each time.

I would drop all my loot in a container, strip my ship, then put everything away. Back into the assigned containers....

Then commit to whatever i was gonna do next and start thinking through the fit.

Even for little things. It was just kinda fun trying to get the perfect setup.

And then when a skill would change something, less power needed, or cpu, i would spend more time messing with my fit.

All the while spinning my little ship around.

It really gave me a sense of connection with my spaceship. The foundation of the game.....

Now we have a foundation with being in a tin can room with a fugly character. :(

Not compromising on Spaceflight-Docked-CQ is nothing more than Iceland man ego getting in the way.

they dont want to compromise or work with the playerbase. Its their way or the highway.

I really think they will run the entire corp into the ground just so they dont have to admit to being wrong.

I mean, really wrong, not some fake pr post.

Thats news to me. One of the other CSM already posted Ship Spinning Hangar WILL NOT CHANGE. Its gone forever.

not really in the mood to dig it up, but it cant be burried too far if anyone wants to find it.

p.s. I get the same impression of Zulu. He seems like a good guy. He also seems apologetic in those interviews via AT9. As if he already knew how this was gonna play out.

Its one thing for them to be attentive to the CSM, a whole different story for them to Call the meeting with an Open Mind.

Thus far, the overall impression is that the Meeting was called to LET THEM KNOW how things are going to be. Instead ofhaving some debate or dialogue with the playerbase via CSM.

They should be grateful their playerbase cares enough about the game to protest and post on their forums. But their attitude feels like "fo".
