I don't even understand when this applies. What issue causes it? When do the skills not apply? How the f*ck can you check this anyway and how do you get into a ship that does not apply your skills?

This could be a sign that the skills system was reworked to allow MT for skill advantage. Just guessing. It's a complete shot in the dark. But, why would they mess with the "application of skill attributes"? Was that not working properly before? Yes, I think it was.

In the interests of fairness regarding your subtext of "How dare you fix NeX before this", I would imagine that fixing scaling in the NeX is a hell of a lot simpler than tracking down and correcting the source of this bug, and they are most likely worked on by completely different Dev teams, so I doubt there was a deliberate order to fix the NeX before anything else.

You're thinking about that the wrong way. What we currently have is a bug to ship skills being applied properly. Last week it was drones (might still be, haven't tried).

What that suggests is a modifier to ship/equipment skills (ie boosters) was the cause of the bug. Not SP boosting.

Did we all drink the Quafe Zero? Wink

OMFG maybe its because they could fix some small things, quickly, and decided to release them... and the problem with skills is taking longer than expected, notice how its written in and lined out, means they had intended for it to be in this update but that it got scrapped... also meaning they couldn't fix it in time! ... Fixing a resizing window is pretty much window.resizing = enabled or something stupid like that most likely simple fix, the drone fix is a f*cking godsend...

the skills they will fix as they said but apparently looks as it took longer than expected and it couldnt get done for today, wtf its not like they said "this is a minor thing so we ignored it"

yes drone skills are getting fixed today, last line of the patch notes... but no one seems to notice the good ccp does, only when they fall or are too slow at something lol

Or it could be that tomorrow we log in to see "buy fix for bugs from nex store"
but i think the point is again they seem to care little for the game and more about the shop. to have to relog every time i want to change ship and to be told it is not important enough to fix straight away just seems wrong.

I've no idea what they've done. All I did was make a suggestion to get people thinking about it.

No doubt, however I think such a major bug that affects all PVP and PVE action in game should not be left unfixed for more than ONE day. How long has it been now, 9?
