EIGHT days now since Incarna release and how many posts/responses/statements have we seen from CCP dealing with the backlash?

Whether to acknowledge peoples thoughts & feelings, provide any assurance that they take us seriously, that they respect and care about the WHOLE community, to confirm/deny/mitigate the leaks, or to provide a timeline of when they will even provide any sort of full response with follow up game actions if there are to be any, more should have happened or been said by now.

Sad timing it is that CCP Pann had personal tragedy as well as professional, but who has stepped in to fill the void? Have they really moved that many people on to WoD and Dust that no one can fill in on dealing with the current EVE situation?

Did I miss the CCP post where they said they were flying the CSM out, for what reasons and when we might here something positive and constructive back?

Is it sheer arrogance from the top as displayed in Hilmars leaked document or fear & consternation that causes this silence?

Either way is it really acceptable for things to be left unanswered this long?

In any organisation and dealing with customers about any product lifecycle, prompt & effective communication is key, especially when faced with such an adverse reaction. Maybe you are all working your @r$Ģ$ off to make things better for us, but until you let us know that, we can only think the worst based on the evidence we have.

Whether you're a rage-quitter, Jita/Amarr system protester/crasher, frustrated forum poster, troller, MT advocate, or quiet Pilot just trying to play through this, you are all affected by each others ingame reactions resulting directly from CCP's silence and that in itself should make you frustrated - with CCP.

Wake up CCP and let us know what you're doing!!!

guessing you missed the post about the CSM meeeting and awaiting the outcome of that?

ccp have posted up a few times saying bear with us.

what ever the fix, it won't be overnight so have to give it time, unless they just stay as is (i think they realise thats not an option though).

I think they said they'd report back after the 2nd of july after the CSM meetings.

Due to the volatility of the topic we want to refrain from any further comments on this matter until after meeting with the CSM.

CCP has not said much, but you still failed to understand what they said.

Sad.

Edit: Despite it feeling to me (and many others) like simply a delaying tactic, the info you are wanting can be found in Zulu's blog.

Being silent in this game will only spell doom for them, it is the worst thing they could possibly do, have they learned nothing from other game developers?

Each day of silence that goes by, the hate grows.

As I already remarked in another thread, the CSM will be wined&dined then laid.

There is not the slightest sign that Hilmar is seeing the riots and the forum hoopla as anything but a storm in the waterglass.
Judging from the translations of the latest interview he gave in Icelandic, right after all this began, he is still stubbornly holding on to the MT and obviously Pay-To-Win some time in the future.

The Rokh is standing by, large energy guns about to be trained for the weekend of laz0rs.
Accounts staying canceled. Evil or Very Mad

The "breach of trust" Zulu was referring to was the guy who leaked the newsletter which pretty much triggered this whole ordeal.
Personally, I'm glad for the leak, because it keeps CCP on their toes and honest in their dealings.

The matter is not CCP saying that there will be no pay to win. Indeed, in Zulus blog CCP said this won't come. The point is that due to the behaviour of CCP the community doesn't trust CCP.

Or they've got their own pitch forks out on a witch hunt for the leaker, so they can hang 'em before issuing a public statement that could be contradicted by another truthful leak.........

Oh come now, they've posted saying a bit more than that.

First Zulu said to the players, "FU". Then Hilmar said, "FU". Then Zulu came back and said, "FU, please". The COO reiterated all this saying

"FU"

But yeah, we're still waiting for CCP to tell the CSM, "FU".

Did I leave anything out?

i don't see anything CCP can say to "community" which will be not flooded and down to earth 1 minute after.

People say "we don't trust CCP". Ok. it's up to you. However what do you want from them this case? Anything they can say is lie a priori.

Only option they have now: keeping silence until people quit or return to it's game.

Who cares OP, seriously? They are moving towards non vanity MT and they are going to word it ambiguously enough to keep as many subscribers as they can. That has been the Modus Operandi for years now and they are not going to change it. We already know what they are going to do and so do they.

This is what's going to happen. CCP will leave incarna the way it is with minor fixes to NEX. CQ will remain and the option to disable it will be removed. Game play will lag and they will loose more subs. EVE will feel like a half finished game as CCP focuses on WoD and DUST. By this time next year EVE will shut down as hordes of tween twilighters boost subs for WoD helping CCP's bottom line. We better belly up to the barrel.

Seriously? Why should they when they're not getting the same from a very vocal portion (though small as it is) of the forums? So they can get more hate mail/posts? I wouldn't either.

CCP pulled pretty much all their devs from the parts of the game I care about (the spaceship game) long ago.

I really don't care if they continue to develop microtransactions/incarna, dust, or world of darkness.

For timeline, just think of all this as a petition. Nothing much will happen. Then an equal amount of time will pass and you will see another statement about CCP resolving the issue.

Because of falcon.
