I am interested in performing a scientific experiment. To do this, I require someone wearing a monocle to undock while in pod with your monocle, for exactly one cycle of artillery.

I promise you, this is only for science.

In the meantime, while you are all enjoying your monocles, I will be having an infinitely better time at the pleasure hubs while awaiting volunteers.

Besides, the really cool people are wearing two monocles. With enhanced stability features, they may LOOK like glasses, but I assure you they are simply an upgraded form of dual monocle badassedness.

1st off i want to set the record straight about Jenner and isk. While we all know that youre isk is never safe around the man, as his ceo i found it surprissing to find that he keeps very little of what he brings in. He has bought many ships for his corpmates, gifted a nightmare to an old friend and donated well over a billion to corp funds in less then a mounth, leaving himself barebones in his own wallet. This is why Jenner is always appears broke and for no other reason. Period.
As for miss constant-bioches so-called protest...I actually think the new hairdo is a vast improvement as the old hairdo was but ugly and made you look like you were walking around with a quite large butt-plug inserted all day +1 Jade :)

So you know.

I said "begged" not "received".

If you want to muzzle your little pekingese attack dog by all means do so. He shouldn't really be allowed to get excited in public.

<3 Toma, most people usually share the opinion that I scrounge for iskies because I do the majority of my gameplay in common T1 Ships. I think the monocle was a subtle way to flaunt the wealth without having to roll around in pimp fit BSes or faction ships. Everyone plays the game differently and well, I'm just better at bringing in the spacebucks than alot of them. I still say you deserve a monocle yourself but I know when you feel the time is right, you'll do it! I wouldn't call you a peasant... but an Elite Peasant :D

I'll help you out Bay, numbnuts probably hasn't had time to do research on anything in lieu of his own peasant failpost walls of text. Plus never hurts to put the publicity back out there, it was quite popular last time. Skip to 9:20

If you're my alt... well I guess I'd be the most Puerto Riccan White French guy in existance. Besides, if you were my alt... you would have a monocle YARRRR!!

Some suffer enucleation for wisdom, given to the water-spirit Mimir for self knowledge.

"I know that I hung on this windy tree all of the nights nine,
wounded by the spear and given to Odhinn;
myself to myself, on that tree which no man knows
from what roots it rises.
They dealt me no bread nor drinking horn,
I looked down, I took up the runes
I took them screaming, I fell back from there."

... and others, well some others just regret getting it on with their mothers.

Aww, the cute little protestors are still pushing the "CCP alts and PR spinners" as the only reason someone could possibly disagree with them. I had hoped they would at least come up with a logical explanation for this idea but so far nothing. No only the idea that any disagreement is delusional, a fanbois thread, or a CCP alt spinning PR. What an utter crock of horse****, there are many who simply don't read the PDF with your same paranoid interpretation. This ugly, sprawling mess you call a protest was started not for some noble cause or some outstanding principle, but because someone printed a stolen PDF without the disclaimers that were attached. They then followed this up by sending out a week old email and claiming it was a reaction to current events.

The protest is wrong.

Now the OP's argument would make sense if anyone actually thought people who had monocles were cool.

while the OP sounds paranoid at first glance

working in the internet industry has told me, that as soon as community building efforts are taken place, such actions are really done, encouraged and taught by our evil economical halfbrain overpaid management maniacs...

While I would understand it as community _building_ effort, it would be very poor of a laid back european company with a steady playerbase to do such things.

On the other hand, I still not believe CCP to be jerks. They might have some flaws there, and I probably would not want to code in that mess or surroundings, but at least, they do interact with their players.
No, I think, those ppl advertising monocles, they just dont care about whining ppl.

And seriously: some posts from emorage ppl did make me think, if i really wanna be on the side of the protesters.

lol, great image but it begs the question, but what's so special about being special, if everyone's special? Honestly, with only a soupçon of irony "Go you monocled magnates!" - not that I could bring myself to get one. I suppose its too much like the iphone gem app, but it's a nice way to give to CCP - you old softies.

edit: Mytzso must be pretty cool, with his tongue in firmly in his cheek, if so it's hard not to fully support the irony in that message :)

lol, this is one of the funniest comments I have ever read in the forums. Outlaw Jenner donates isk and ships did he?, hmmm, that I find very hard to believe, considering many of us know the truth.

By the way, I do not see Outlaw Jenner wearing that lovely Monocle now :). I wonder why that is?, I guess he is back to being that peasant. He could always purchase another, then lose it again. Easy come, easy go huh.

And to make it cool by acting all edgy about having one. That only those with balls have will have one therefore its cool. Your not hardboiled without a monocle.

Sigh, if you were to stop obsessing over every thread that I've posted in and pull your thick skull out of your arse for about 30 seconds you would realize that worn items such as monocles are NOT DESTRUCTABLE. Therefore cannot be LOST. Items however are not preserved on jump cloning, you know that thing you have failed at doing multiple times and losing implants in the process (try jumping to stations your clone isn't at already in the future). The monocle is currently sitting on my HG Crystal Clone and when / if I ever get back to bearing I'll have it on again.

You really should get a hobby other than trying to troll a troll. As entertaining as watching you flail about on the forums in your butthurt state is, it gets quite tiresome and frankly its sad to see an "elevated business man" such as yourself have to resort to and try failing at trolling. Green sector business must not be all that its cracked up to be eh?

Thanks for bringing this up. And I did chuckle at the great "killmail" above.

We finalized on the following characteristics:
-clothing are destructible while in your cargo (like anything else)
-clothing are not destroyed if podded while worn - you will wake up in your new clone wearing the same outfit
-clothing does not travel with you if you take advantage of a jump clone - it remains in the previous station
-items such as the eye implants or Amarr monocles which are installed in the body do NOT behave like implants but can be removed and put on again at will (or even resold.)

We believe these settings best serve both our current population as well as those players who come later and learn to play EVE Online without the benefit of a specific briefing on the new functionality.

don't let RougeOperator fool you. From his name I gather he is a makeup artist and should monocles become commonplace it would reduce the amount of work he receives by 50%
