There lots of posting talking about the larger problems of the Incarna release, nex store prices, CQ to be optional etc, if you want to talk about those please do so in other posts. This post is about the "little things".

- Flavor text that needs updating:

"Please wait while entering the hanger"

"Your half on board already, please wait. Estimated time for getting the other half on board is..."

"You must be in a capsule to use the jump clone service.
Please exit your ship by right clicking on it and selecting 'Leave Ship' and try again.
If you have been podded, please open the ship hangar and board a ship in order to receive a fresh capsule. You will then be able to leave that ship and clone jump."

- When spawning in a station, have the camera face the ship rather than the hallway. This would allow faster access to the ship console. As well as instantly knowing which ship is active without have to turn around.

- Enable ship contextual menu on ship hologram and actual ship in hanger. This will give faster access to ships with non standard cargo bays as well as well as "change name", "leave ship" etc...

- Retract turrets when unloaded, reloading or repairing.

- Session change timers are an excellent excuse to gives a nice visual of ships being moved into and out of the hanger view in front of us. (Not so Little)

- Agent Finder windows can take a few seconds to load after clicking the button, some feedback that the button press was recognized and the window is loading would be nice.

- Options for reduced graphics in CQ for lower end machines. The lighting model is beautiful, you should be very proud, don't take it as an offense that some people want to turn it off.

- Wider zoom range in CQ, lets us zoom in our character faces. Shouldn't have to go into the character creator to show off how pretty the characters models are to our visiting friends.

- Love to see some more activity happening in the background in the hangers, like the hanger videos you released. Other ships moving around in the back ground would at some great ambiance. Perhaps some maintenance drones flying around your ship as well, having a point of reference will help make the larger ships look truly impressive. (Not so Little)

- Multiple spawn points for ships exiting a station. I know this isn't specifically Incarna related but seeing a stream of frigate, cruisers and battleships exiting a satiation should be visually stunning. Currently it just looks like a mess.

- New strip miners animation looks nice, but needs to be "bigger" like the old ones.

I support pretty much all of this.
Especially more animation that give more "life" to the captain's quarters and the hangar would be awesome.


Some other things that will severely increase variety in Incarna: give us a different captain's quarters depending on the station (ie: say Gallente has 7 different types of stations, then please give us 7 different types of captain's quarters)
Along with this, also add in more different hangars. (= please bring back the old "pleasure hub" hangar Razz )

as CQ is going to be a big and important feature, this kind of stuff would actually be neccesary in my opinion to make it interesting and good-looking. Much like you have different backgrounds for each system/constellation, give us different stuff for CQ for variety and making sure that it doesn't look the same all the time Smile

Also have an option to remove the station services box/window because we no longer need it since all of our tools are right there in our cq's and on the left bar (missing things just add to our bar on the left).

Two things really:

1) I would like to edit the main screen and change the information being displayed.

2) Nex Store needs some cooler t-shirts or hoodies to purchase (corp logos on t-shirts for example).

Reduce graphics? I was so dissapointed by how terrible the graphics were I stopped playing game for a few days. I spent a long time getting my alt tinbashers mug just right as I wanted a mobster type toon for walking in stations, My CQ guy doesnt look anything like me, Scrap CQ and hire some better graphic guys, B grade doesnt cut it.

Faces look different in portraits because of the multi-source lighting setups, most locations in the current CQ's only have a single light at any time. Your character not looking like you imagined has nothing to do with the technology and all to do with the light placement within the quarters. Which I fully agree needs to be re-evaluated. There are a couple of spots where the characters look very strange indeed. When standing on the end of the balcony under multiple light sources the characters look great. Then again we have only seen one quarters, we've yet to see the lighting in gallente, ammar or caldari quarters, let alone the stations themselves. The lighting in the minmitar CQ could be design specific.

If you could refer me to any other MMO in existence that looks anywhere nears as good as the CQ in eve, I'll happily eat my recently cooked graphics card ;)

That being said, the suggested options to decrease the graphic intensity was only intended as a performance boost for low end hardware.

Only have my guns extend out when I'm actively targeting something. I don't want to see my guns extend out every time I align my ship to a celestial.
