Edited by: Simetraz on 27/06/2011 17:21:01Load the station environment. If you walk to the balcony and watch your ship, it is actually spinning. It takes a long time to do 360 but there you go CCP needs to do 3 things immediately. 1. Fix the items that were broke in the patch (corp management etc etc etc.) 2. Action by in action, do not remove our option load station environments. 3. Fix the issue with the ATI cards, this has happened before you might want to see what you did last time. Confirmed ships that spin. // Destroyer - KING TERROR // Freighters // Orca // Rorqual // // |

If someone's videocard is overheating, then they need to find out what is wrong with it. IT'S NOT THE GAME. This is why consoles were invented, all the tech-illiterate people can play without having to know things. |

Not all ships spin fully. Some just bob around. |

How to spin your ship:
1: Open Fitting window 2: Spin the ship in the fitting window as you would normally spin your ship. |

Really, any size limit ? So far all the capitals I have tried with rotate. Hmmm I see a project in my future, might have to test all the ships to be certain |

That's not true at all. Plenty of games have had to be patched due to overheating in specific cards, this is not a new thing. Sure, your card might have a problem that's causing it to overheat, but when everyone with X card is getting heating issues, it's not the card, it's usually the game, especially if it only occurs in one game. |

Ppl need to understand that some gamesettings here and there can do more with a vidcard than that its capable of. Does your car like to run on 12k rpm for weeks at a time without overheating? |

A decent video card might help too. Anything inline with an Nvidia 7 series / AMD X000 series is ancient (goes for the 8 series and 1X000s), get out of 2005 and get a decent video card. Incarna looks nice, as do most games since Halo. Your CPU will thank you as well. |

Dont have the client on this computer, but you should be able to just do the view icon in the info screen for the ship and spin it.

If your video card cannot handle the game of a certain setting, you should lower that setting. If your video card constantly overheats, without shutting the system down to protect itself, then something is wrong with your video card. If your video card sometime overheats, with minimal settings, clean any computer fans, and don't run your computer when the temperature of the room is above 85F. My house is hot, thus I took off the side panel of my computer, and just clean the fans more regularly. |

So my 2 gtx570s that run no hotter than 30-35c playing several clients of crysis maxed are broke because they reach 70+c with one client of eve's in station environment. It's even a known issue being looked at by CCP. You sound incredibly smart right now. Leave the technology threads to people with degrees in the field. |

The the spin is very slow, hopefully they will increase it just a bit to make it more obvious. |
