It basically says, that if we don't have access to all game content during our subscription we get a refund. Now Incarna makes you pay for new game content, but nowhere in the EULA does it say they can withdraw content and make us pay extra for it. Also in the top of the EULA it says we agree by the terms of the EULA in the client. So does this mean we all get refunds for our subscriptions? Or am I wrong?

you're wrong.

you can still acess all game content earning is ratting and buying aurum for monicles etc

now.. I don't want to access all game content but i've never done archeology, never owned a pos . etc... i got tons I could do that i haven't...

i just wish they'd balance ships and guns every patch.. tiny adjustments.. not big swoops .. gradually adjust the white and gray till they get what they want.

Clever, but alas no. In this case the use of your account would be the ability to access the NeX + Store.

Their lawyers apparently know what they're doing, just not their upper management =\

Another interesting point is they have at the top of it a statement saying CCP can shut down the game entirely as long as they have a 30 days notice, and it can be a notice however they see fit. I wonder if this whole ordeal is the notice lol.

I wonder if I get my $1000 virtual pants refunded in this case.

Otherwise it is pretty madness to buy them if they can be taken away at ANY time, without warning, without refund, without reason, right?

Well actually, they can, because in the EULA it also states that your character and all its items are the property of CCP not you. So... yes they can take away "your" $1000 virtual pants without a refund.

so do i read that correct that for every time the server is down making it unenviable for us to use (except of course for the known down time) we should be demanding a refund even if it is only for 0.5 cents?
Now it may seem stupid at first however ccp is very quick to ban a player for one wrong word or just an implied thought stating the eula as their reason should e not do the same?

Well, I am not sure, the EULA is a long document and I did not understand most of it as I am not a layer or a person familiar in reading such documents, but I am sure there was a piece in there accounting for such delays in service. What I am referring to is that they can shut the entire game down for an extended time with a 30 days notification. That includes announced updates, EVE's death, etc...

was thinking of all the times the server crashes and the patches take 3-4 hours longer than stated?

Ya I understand, just speculating but I'm sure there is a note in there saying unintentional loss of service is not CCP's responsibility so you may not get a refund for those periods of time.

You must be new.

Welcome to EVE.

Let me enlighten you. The people here on the forum feel very entitled.

How does this tie in with your query that I quoted?

Well, once you've been around for a while, you'll notice that every time D/T runs five minutes overtime there will be at least thirty threads demanding refunds for lost time. The righteous wrath of the petulant forumite is a thing to behold and I truly enjoy logging in on those days. So by all means, feel free to demand your five cents. Just don't be surprised when I pop into your thread and call you an idiot.

Hope this helped.

Mr Epeen Cool
