CCP/EVE is getting destroyed by immature people who heard somebody say something bad about CCP, without looking into what CCP did in the first place.

CCP never said that they would be implementing Non-Vanity items that would give people who have AURUM an advantage over those who don't. They were expressing "exaggerated" view/opinions in a internal newletter that was only meant to stir internal discussion.

DUST 514 and World of Darkness will be using Non-Vanity MT items, thus the need for discussion, even if it is not implemented in EVE.

The email from Hilmar appears to only be encouragement to the employees not to let this episode of horrible publicity get them down, because are in fact using the Micro-Transaction system to get the Monocles, and that any change will have negative responses.

CCP Shill detected

Personally I more worried about what sort of access this person who leaked these documents have to our account information. Once CCP find out who released these documents, they will surely be he/she then going to sell our account information to the highest bidder?

12 months ago CCP categorically stated they would not be changing their business plan for EVE, as CCP Shadow made abundantly clear.

Actually, CCP Shadow said he is not aware of any plans to that effect, and in that particular context (with "as far as he knows" self-understood) that he doesn't believe that will change.
That was not an official CCP policy statement, let alone meant as a "forever and ever" thing.

Yes, it was a jerk move from CCP brass, but still.

And yet in 2008 they make a joke about thier current business model.
