Edited by: Katrina Oniseki on 25/06/2011 12:27:31 Hey Fallout! I've updated my original question with my response to yours. I don't think I made my original question clear enough, so I've added some more information, if you could take a look for me.
Thank you!
Also, Fallout, I understand you're having a tough time today, so I do thank you for answering my question amongst all the attacks. I personally side with the protesters, but I wanted to ask this question and get some information about it, while also providing you with something other than MT to reply to. |

Fallout, I know how frustrating this must be especially for you. Youve had to deal with a lot of angry bile recently. But please pass along that our patience is starting to run out. Most of us still love this game. For the love of god, man, the situation is spinning out of control by the minute! |

New ships would have been so, so much better than the loset quarters, especially seeing as EVE is a space game, in space, then ou can assume that the people playing like the space element and adding new spaceships is a safe bet. Adding space barbie is not. |

Edited by: Hawaii Five-0 on 25/06/2011 19:49:40 Dear CCP, If and when you do design new ships, can you please not design them with dumb-ass faces on them. (Cynabal, Vaga, Onerios, even the Hurricane has a smiley face (look carefully)) Cant remember the name of the one with the huge toothy grin, think it may be a galente frig or like.
Its called Anthropomorphism and totally unnecessary unless you are 5.

Quoted so people get the message. CCP is not some Borg-like collective consciousness where everybody knows what everybody else is doing (else there wouldn't be this communication SNAFU). The people we can most easily reach, people like CCP Fallout, are the people who know the least about the issues we have. All Fallout can do is bring our issues to the attention of the right people, and my understanding is he's done that. So lay off the guy, alright? Fallout isn't the problem. In fact, I daresay he's doing a fine job. |

There was a huge Q&A with a lot of CCP'ers and they did answer the question that only those qualified to answer, should answer. So Fallout is doing the right thing again and I salute him for that. |

It has no place. At all. I will be angry if even with my expensive ships, bought with hard-earned ISK, complete with high skills, will get shredded when some eight day old player with Aurum purchased railguns, in a destroyer, manages to totally ruin my faction cruiser. Bye, balance. |

Hi all,
I’m CCP Thrustmaster. I am a member of the team that has so far brought you Primae, Noctis, Punisher, Maller, Scorpion, Sansha mothership and a few more. We are in the process of doing something called “V3 shader project” of our current catalogue of ships. This involves a lot of work for our artists. While this project does not involve new ship geometry, it does mean that older ships will look more up to date than they are now in game. Ship shaders look better, and we are adding thruster glow to each ship's thrusters.
We have a huge backlog of ships and other space assets that are due for facelifts and makeovers. In this first iteration we are tackling the technical part of the work for the entire EVE fleet and later this year will start working on what is the actual visual improvements. We are all the more motivated by the player enthusiasm for things that look good while they go Pew-Pew. We will have a dev blog in the near future explaining this in much more detail.

At least someone is working on actual spaceship content in a spaceship game. Would be nice if we wouldn't have to wait another year until we get better looking ships though. |

Nice to hear. Can I ask you to raise the bar a little bit though? No more "space turds" (sansha mothership) or "transformer-toys" (scorpion). The maller look kinda okey but doesn't really fit in, same for the primae. And they all look kinda "plastic" (shader?). Good luck though :) |

First of all let me thank you guys for the great job you have done so far! Second, these facelifts and makeovers do they include the necessaries prep-work for redoing the missile system, like removing fixed launchers from ships like the Drake ? |

Great work on the Maller. It was one of my least favorite ships looks-wise before, and now my gas harvester is one of my favorite ships to fly. |
