A plea to everyone who is REALLY quitting eve over this "memo":
Please send me all your stuff! Obviously you were planning on quitting anyways, you can't use it. just contract it to ole' Doctor Smith and i'll put it to good use!

Biomass all characters or else they are not quitting, they are taking a nap from the game. They probably need the sleep or spend time with their loved ones anyways... Take a nap, you'll feel better when you wake up. Sometimes a forced break wakes you up from virtual reality and into THE reality. |

Very few people are quitting - many people are canceling(me included.)
Most of us would come back if theres a dramatic change of direction by CCP this week. |

Theyve been doing things like that already.
I watched multiple people give away everything they had in various hisec systems throughout New Eden. A few of them posted time/system/details in general discussion and for some reason CCP moved the posts to various other sections... The most bizarre of which was the one they moved to Sell Orders.
Anyhow, MadMax emptied out his wallet to everybody in local, moving down the list giving each person between 10-20mil. And I mean EACH person.. At at the time there was around 70 in local. Then he started giving away random BPO's.. Drake, hurricane, and other bigger ticket items. All in all, nearly 20bil in assets.
I guess thats one way to ensure you won't be tempted to come back. You'd be poor. ;)
Also, in that particular situation I have to give credit to the guy for not flaming CCP at all during the entire event. He ended with a simple good bye after giving away everything. Also kind of cool that he didn't "take his toys and go home" so to speak. Instead he helped out other players by donating his assets. :) |

No. However if this is the direction the game is taking, any money I invest it in it from herein is a waste and is merely encouraging a company who is showing more and more that it doesn't give two shakes of a stick what their customers think about what they are doing. Manifest has said point blank that Aurum is here to stay. To me, that translates as "**** you all, no matter how many protest, we don't care" I'm intelligent enough to know when to cut my loss. |
