Alright I am sure everyone knows what all the problems are with this patch, and I agree with just about every single letter written by a "hater" on these forums as well. In contrast I just wanted to make this one thread about what I/we feel was done well in Incarna.

Basically, don't spread the whining in here, just mention something that you liek that has come out of this debacle. I'll start:

-I love the Agent Finder. I used to do missions when I first started, and it was nothing short of a headache. The new finder works surprisingly well. Bonus points for sorting by distance!

-I like the idea of a news feed. If there is a way to link it to your intel channel and parses names/corps/alliances and systems this would be great.

- I like the new turrets, they really do add a nice touch, even if the small blasters are 1/5th the size of my Taranis.

-I like the idea of the CQ.

That's just about it off the top of my head. If people have anything else to add go ahead.

I like that they still haven't fixed Hybrids, +1 for skilling Minmatar.

I like that I can turn off Captains Quarters.

I like that after they release the other 3 CQ's maybe 2, Walking in the rest of the Station will be forgotten by the Dev's faster then you can say Faction Warfare.

Although, I have to say, my joy at being able to turn off captain's quarters was all but eliminated at the discovery that, either way, I could no longer spin my ship.

But I don't like that I can't spin my ship.
And I don't like that turning off CQ has been labeled "Temporary".

CQ as a UI is tremendous. News feeds, agent finder, mirror, planet window, new turrets. An upgraded CQ will be awesome. WiS will be even better.

The best thing about Incarna though is all old ludites rage quiting. Sometimes you gotta take a dose of pain to purge the cruft out before new blood can enter the game. Good riddance, don't let the door hit you on the way out!

I like the fact that I'll no longer be spending 2x 14.95 a month to be lied to about MT?

I'll not remember this expansion as being the "walking in stations" expansion, it's the "fapping to turrets expansion".

I like some of the interactivity, the TV is a nice concept although a bit clunky.
all the concepts are great and would be really neat
IN ANOTHER GAME

problem is it doesn't fit here, its not an addition its a change, a radical, bloated, pointless change that brings nothing new to the table but a week of oohs and aahs and then settles in to be a simple annoyance to be fixed/tweeked at some nebulous time in the distant future.

is an entire dev cycle worth a dingy little box to put our overpriced crap in?

The way it has not destroyed my computer as badly as some of my friend's.

YES. YES it is. EVE has needed a major injection of new ideas for a while. The only other good option is fixes. IE No new content. You'd be whining still.

- The news feed is awesome. Its not scripted, so the news are actually happening.

- The immersion CQ bring is cool, but we need more than a simple room.

- Agent finder is really useful.

- New turrets are awesome, but some of them, like the large matari "machinegun" (don't remember the real name of it) sounds completely wrong.

- I hate microtransactions. Worst thing they added in EVE since I first heard about the game. I can live with it if the prices are fair, and even buy something if they are really fair...but come on...they are ridiculous right now.

Sorry for my bad english.

As you say, I like everything that was added (apart from the noble store), but there needed to be more. Firstly all four races quarters should have been released and secondly there needs to be more things to do in your CQ apart from stare at the screen. Some mini-games or little things you can click that do things, nothing game changing. Make it customisable. As it stands it is just a clunky and resource intensive background to the standard station UI.
