Nah, EVE won't die. Just as SWG hasn't died. Or Star Trek Online. Just what kind of alive it'll be, phew, now that's something else.

Not in this case, sadly.

Also, it's no longer limited to the Eve forums. It's worldwide.

I was in beta and decided not to buy retail, as i ran a guild over 100 accounts big in dark age of camelot, and came back to eve when the character creator was released in feb. I was hypnotized by pretty graphics and didnt see the rotting core that is citibank executive(s) in the decision tree.

I cancelled my 2 accounts over 5 issues and was one of they key audience ccp was trying to bring in. Ive worked in the gaming press ( vault network) have 40 hours a week to spend on my "hobby" and more than average disposable income, and a loyal group of friends who follow me game to game, we are outta here if this doesnt turn around soon.

Yes, I'll remember the day when all the vets cried themselves away in a river of tears because they couldn't afford to put a monocle on their dollies.

Come again? SOE CEO admitting they ruined their own game, down to 60k subbers from 400k in less than a year wont count? Of course there is a game out there masquerading as SWG, but its just a monstrosity and in no way the SWG itself.

I understand what you were trying to say, but what people call SWG now has only around 25-30k subscribers, in its best days they had more subscribers than EVE has today. I call that dying.

Haters gonna hate. Old screenshot because i won't even bother logging on anymore.

Also i prefer to spend my RL money on RL things. Like actually going out of my basement and not whining at people i call whiners. Enjoy spending all your money you earned flipping burgers on internet monocles.
