Shouldnt we get a lifetime abo for World of Darkness and Dust? I mean CCP already said in their internal mail that WE the Eve customers are paying for the developement of these games. So we should all get them for free...

Its so bad that instead of putting more effort in the developement of Eve while it grows, they have only a minimum of a hand full of devs working on Eve while the rest is used to create other games but their money comes all from us.

yeah cause CCP are the first company in history to use subscription fees from one product to help fund or develop another... where have you been for the last 10 years?

I honestly don't get why CCP using the income generated by EVE subscriptions to develop games other than EVE is regarded as a bad thing. Literally all game developers do this, and most of their communities understand the necessities of business. As an example, do you think all the money Blizzard makes on WoW goes into the development of new WoW content? These funds are used for other projects as well, Diablo 3, SC2 etc.

Why should be CCP any different in that regard?

Edit: See post above. Good to know not everyone thinks like the OP.

So as a company with a single game, that is planning to expand there portfolio. Were do you think, or thought the money for these games comes from. Thin air? Really, the Emo raging going on make the WoW players look like gamers.

Its like going to a gas station for 5 years, and finding out that the owner spends the profits on the house he lives in. And getting upset he is putting in a new swimming pool.

Just cause I am not going to swim in it, dose not mean other ppl dont have the right to. My sandbox suits me just fine, cause my tonka truck is still shinier then yours.

Emo tears are the best tears, thank you CCP for creating this down poor.

Where did you think the money for those projects was coming from? They don't really have more than one big source a revenue.

Yes, some developers do this, BUT not in this dimension. Normally they have some publisher who pay for them. Just have a look at the last expansions and you see what i mean. Also they are developing two other games at the same time. So less than one third (because the other games have more devs working on them) of the input we do is coming back to us.
