I seriously did not know EVE had this many little immature kids playing EVE that think throwing tantrums by flaming and trolling the forums with threats of cancelling solves anything.

I also used to think EVE had a more intelligent community than most mmo's, but obviously not by the amount of ridiculous ranting and whining on the forums instead of offering constructive suggestions and/or opinions.

Players need to seriously think before speaking sometimes. How can anyone be against a game evolving with modern technology in order to expand it and make it the best it can be while drawing in more gamers? It is insane to expect a game company to not evolve competitively in the gaming industry.

Not to mention adding childish remarks by simply saying that they want their "spinning ship" back is not a valid reason, get real.

I applaud CCP for doing the right thing and sticking to their guns and expanding EVE beyond some weak pew-pew space game with little depth. Change happens in all things, regardless how much someone throws immature tantrums while threatening to cancel their account.

I have been a fan of EVE since beta and I will be around long after the non-constructive/immature whiners have either got over it or moved on.

Really, what are you doing here then?

What does CQ bring in depth? Character looks very bad, no interaction except one screen that repeats the stame thing over and over and couch to sit on.

For the OP I suppose "constructive suggestions and/or opinions" means accepting whatever CCP feeds us, however we're not their slaves, we shouldn't be forced to "accept or quit" for something we paid for some people more than 6 years at $15/mo.

We're not against change at all, actually Incarna is a good idea with a lot of potential. However, their plans for the future are rather shaddy, they don't plan on making Eve a better place, and Eve is also a bit OUR place, we helped building it. Read their leaked internal doc and you'll get it :)

Song to Fitz and the Tantrums:

Quote:

I won't come back anytime I've already had your kind.
No more paycheck, money grabber.

I won't come back anytime, you've already run me dry.
No more paycheck, money grabber.

Teardrops fade.
Then I saw, blue hands in my pocket.
'Cause you were always made to want it all.
But now you got to make it on your own.
This ain't my game.
So I'm showing you the door.
Wave goodbye now, it's time for me to go.

I won't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.
No more paycheck, money grabber.

I won't come back anytime, you wanna rob me blind.
No more paycheck, money grabber.

Blue bar posts.
All I see.
You talking double.
Like the time you introduced MT to me.
'Cause EVE was in trouble.
Here's my advice .
I don't think twice for the price of a cheap time ***** .

I won't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.
No more paycheck, money grabber.

I won't come back anytime, you wanna rob me blind.
No more paycheck, money grabber.

One. Two. Three.
One is for the money.
Two is for the greed .
And three times that I told you MT is the thing,
I just don't need .

I won't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.
No more paycheck, money grabber.

I won't come back anytime, you wanna rob me blind.
No more paycheck, money grabber.

Money grabber.
Money grabber

I won't comeback anytime, I've already had your kind.

Well it seems the constructive criticism we've given over, and over, and over again has seemed to fall upon deaf ears. These are the last remaining hopes from a community desperate to fix it quickly downward-spiraling game.

We are just trying to make the game better. We are whining because we care.

please, get informed. PLEASE. Full unedited version from CCP

this is about much more than losing "ship spinning" or any other BS.

but TBH your deluded if you think the game got any "depth" due to this latest update. its a closet, plain and simple.

Because your mature taking your time to write a wall of text countering the arguement, this is like a 'no my dad will beat your dad up' arguement, we're all as imature as each other ........ *pokes tongue out and wiggles fingers next to ears*

I appreciate the bumps btw, despite some of the rude comments that I knew would be inevitable and only proves my point about the level of whining.

Some things I wasn't clear about though is that I know some might have technical issues but it is still the first week of the launch and bugs should be expected.

A few players whining about it all and 'threatening' to cancel their subscriptions solves nothing. If they were true fans of EVE, they would know their subs help pay the checks of the devs who work to fix the problems. So like I said, throwing a tantrum literally solves nothing.

Thankfully though, the ones ranting in the forums only count for about 2% at most of the total EVE population.

Really, what game are you talking about? Was Eve weak pew-pew space game before CQ was introduced? What depth was added with CQ?

I believe most ppl are not that concerned with ship spinning, but with Dust (that is quickly becoming the main project for CCP)that is supposed to directly influence Eve. What if Dust fails or is slowly forgotten? Why so tight connection to Sony and their unsecured outdated console? And of course - micro(macro)transactions. Where this will take Eve? Will those be just vanity items or actual power items will be added later? This is not whining. This is general concern for the quality of the product we pay for. If you want to accept everything that is pushed to you - it's your choice, but don't tell others what to do.

CCP only responds to threadnoughts. This has been proven time and time again. However, this time I'm sure the threadnoughting is futile besides being a way to say goodbye to our beloved CCP.
