That's all you have to say?
There were times when "BizDev" and lawyers weren't running the company (at least from the look of it) and datadumps were published before the expansion hit the servers so that we could integrate it in our tools and publish it on time with the expansion.
All we get now is a standard-CCP-damage-control blog/vid, which hasn't answered one single question/concern raised in the original dev blog feedback thread.
Let me help your "BizDev" out with the sentence that needs to be put in a dev blog: "We'll introduce a commercial 3rd party dev license for those devs that wish to charge RL money for their tools/service, everything else remains the same."
Now, that wasn't so difficult, was it? |

Haven't you noticed? They don't want any 3rd party applications anymore. They ruin CCPs intellectual property! But it is probably only a misunderstanding. |

Thanks for the pointer, Mintoko. I had a look yesterday, but it wasn't there. Although I somehow had the impression, that it would be CCP's job to announce its release, not player F5'ing the community page and then notifying each other ... how naive I am.  Good to see that this excellent service and continued support from CCP will finally be formalized with a license. Can't wait to sign one of those ... <sarcasm /> |
