2 seconds to load in, undocking is the same as it ever was.

I use a 2 year old dell laptop with 4 gigs of ram.

Whilst I appreciate that many of you have issues Incarna for me is literally as smooth as a babies bum......

8300 core 2 duo (one of the oldest)
4GB ram
64GB cheapo SSD (TRIM enabled)
4870 Ati Gfx card
Win7 x64

takes about 3 to 4 secs to load CQ from space; I can still use my UI while it loads in too.

thanks everyone for responses. definately seems like 4 gigs is the minimum. i know its been pretty standard amount for a couple years but some of us reading this with only two might see improvment with added memory it appears.

That's about right, the load times are affected more by RAM and CPU than anything else though your HDD speed can have some effect(as in most other games) so what you are experiencing is probably a RAM bottleneck. Its not said much these days because new systems often come with an excess of RAM, but you would probably benefit from an upgrade.

I have a laptop, but it's Intel i7 quad core with a dedicated graphics card.

CQ loads in the same time the station environments did - basically immediately. Since the Neocom is still all there, if I'm just dropping into station to do something quick, there's basically no noticable difference between pre-Incarna and post.

my machine is nothing fancy.. 550ti + intel core i5 + 4gig ram.... only the first "station load" was a bit long, then fairly quick afterwards...
