The fact that ccp have simply ninja edited the original front page post from 21.30 -> 23.30 and have left the link in that front page post to a post stating that they expect servers to be on line at 21.30 - show how arrogant and incompetent the company is.
So, you're saying they should remove all previous updates to their posts just to make it appear that their magic crystal ball was correct the whole time? It makes sense that they would change the original post that would be seen from the main news page to reflect the NEW expected time for those people who do not constantly troll the forums. |

wow how i wish all this kissasses to stop posting those comments... would it be soo much better if you could actually think before posting. Only in the last 30 days CCP had over 40 hours of downtime during EU tz alone. The standard reply would be "yes, you lost 2 euro, go cry". Multiply that 2 euros with 45 thousand accounts ( yeah because, as much as CCP would like us to think, they dont have more than 30 thousand players, with an average of 1.5 accounts each ), and youll see how much they are paid just to mock you. Or multiply with the 36-48 months of the dedicated players subscriptions to see how much they pay. Another standard reply is : "read the EULA". There is a law in EU which mentions the liabilities of the service provider in case of long accumulated interruptions in service. That law invalidates the entire section of the eula. And a third standard reply : "the accounts are paid with isk not RL money". This is hilarious, do these posters ever think long enough to realize how the GTCs are paid ? I think EVE is a great game, despite the latest *really* bad development decisions. But the respect to the customer is close to non-existent for CCP. In fact, is the worst i have ever seen in the MMORPG business, and, if they dont start to do something about that, they will lose all the players to a not-so-great game company that knows how to keep them. |

GMT does not account for daylight saving either. Furthermore GMT is not really a correct term. To all the freaking idiotic whining maggots in this thread - they're deploying a massive patch morons! It's going to take as long as it takes. Did any of you honestly expect to be playing at all today? Anyone who didn't stack their skill queue to cover at least the next four days is either a ****** or simply hasn't been paying attention.
Let them work - if they take the time to get this right there will probably be less downtime/crashes/bugs in the days and weeks ahead. |
