On behalf of the all of the volunteers in my team that have been bringing you match reports, pictures, results and the data on EVE TV, you're most welcome. I shall be sure to pass the apprecation on!

Even if the final was totally crap,
I would like to thank you for the organisation of this alliance tournament.
production, commentating, quality - it has been an improvement to the previous AT.
and thanks to the interstellar correspondents for the great data-support.

This was the best tournament yet. I enjoyed the format (even though it meant a few "pointless" matches), the commentary this time around was fantastic, the studio was great, there was even some silly fun that was entertaining. You guys really outdid yourselves this year and I'm already looking forward to the next tournament!

I just so happened to start playing EVE as the tournament started, and it has clearly played a big part in getting me to sign up :)

Anyways thank you.. and what the lady in the first post said.

Congrats to Hydra and Outbreak making it to the final. A big applause to all those teams and commentators that participated and those of CCP who worked on making this a great tournament to watch.

Best organised tournament ever, amazing commentaters, especially Shadoo. We finally have someone who is a true tournament expert.

Hopefully next year you guys give full coverage of all matches, studio or no.

Thanks guys, after a lot of preparations and a lot of long nights, that means a lot. Hope to see you all again next year.
I really felt for you in that embarrassing final moment, Kristoff. I hope you guys act to ensure penalties for obvious metagaming next year as it really is no one's interest.

Though I wasn't lucky enough to watch most of the matches live, I really enjoyed what I did get to see (and thank you CCP for getting the YouTube's up so quick...though, it'd be nice if they could all make it up within 24 hours of the match since I missed all but 2 hours of the final 2 days). That said:

  • Excellent work on the camera's. So, so, so much better than watching a bunch of red and blue squares running around a black screen. I can't say enough about how well done and engaging the camera work was!

  • Superb commentary...it really brought me into the matches.

  • Great in-studio commentary from all! I really loved that it was mixed up...a bit of Tourney talk, a bit of talk about other elements of Eve with various CCP guests....wonderfully well done and entertaining

Thanks to all volunteers (CCP staff included) for putting this great bit of Eve-tainment together for us! Can't wait for 10!

Thanks for the awesome two weekends, waited a whole year for this and I wasn't dissapointed in the slightest.

I was actually pretty teary-eyed and emotional about how friendship overcame all at the end, and that made it all the better <3

Great work, great show, great commentators, great company, great game!

Looking forward to Incarna on Tuesday, I know already you guys will never dissapoint me when it comes to entertainment, so REALLY looking forward to next years tournament :D

Just want to say a few things regarding my take on this year’s tourney:

Thank you to the staff, volunteers and dedicated people behind the scenes that all invest time and effort into bringing all of the fans what has been the best alliance tourney yet. Too bad the final match was not taken seriously but that is for the other 400 threads on the forums about it.

-Level of professionalism and technical / social production better than any previous year (from the HD feed stability to the stage props, camera and mixing)

-Level of real world performance in the realm of true entertainment was well above the norm for what we have seen. Another two or three years and you will be ready for the major networks!

-I liked the fact you decided to wear decent clothes on the FINAL day. Props. Forget all the kidz comments...

Seriously, thanks to all of you who make this happen and continue to improve on it year after year. Looking forward to the next.

GAME ON!

The presentation and quality level of the production this year were excellent.
Congratulations to all involved for producing a first class event.

yes, you did an awesome job as moderator most of the time. You guys improve from year to year in an amazing fast speed.

Just next year, dont be so naive anymore. It is not only the alliance tournament, which was ****ed up by metagaming. It happens also on TQ and way more than it should be. If you banned more botters, not only their letterbox companies, but also their famous main characters, we would not see any more some of the famous names, we saw this year again, because they violated the EULA on TQ. Also talk with Goons/PL/Test about Eve 0.0 politics gives you a very onesided point of view, so maybe try to avoid politics and metagaming next time. It would be better.

Same here.

Put some faces behind toons, hearing some hilarious comments between PB leaders, I had a lot of IRL lols thx.

And my last /clap goes to that "spirit" you can feel when they start talking about their baby (EVE), just like kids each and every one of them has that little spark in their look just like kids. They love what they do, it's great.

Now time for me to return on the forum post troll and grief dev's !

Awesome tourney although it was rather tiring with so many matches on each day. It would've be nice to have them spread over more weekends but I suspect real life timing restrictions made that impossible.

CCP Soundwave rocks. The CCP guests were all interesting and had interesting stuff to say. The commentary team was the best yet (yes, all of them).

The camera coverage of the fights was awesome - I loved the tactical overlay window providing a birdseye view in addition to the usual 3d person ship viewpoint - a great improvement!

Thanks for a successful AT9 CCP - may next year be as good if not better.

I think we had the strongest commentary setup we've ever had. I really hope we can bring back everyone next year, they were all amazing.

Amazing tournament -- full of upsets, turn arounds and even drama (which, after the initial shock wears off, is good in the long run).
