I would pay, and willing to bet others would pay for premium WIS games.
Zuma, Bejeweled, Tetris, etc all the time waster games should be obtainable with Aurum.

I would pay to keep those games out of EVE, go play on Facebook if you want those games. |

I used to play the junk out of TradeWars... it was my first foray into having alts for greater success. When the White Wolf merger happened and I was suddenly part of CCP, I asked the EVE guys if TW was an inspiration. Apparently it wasn't and convergent evolution reigns supreme. Thanks for the nostalgia.

You're like talking about Tradewars from the days of BBSes right? I spent too much of my high school years playing that on a local BBS  I actually have a copy of that floating around somewhere and a copy of renegade BBS on 5.25" floppies.  I always thought it might have been an inspiration for EVE, thanks for shattering my bubble  |

Only if my character in Eve can play Eve, so that my character's character can go into the CQ and boot up Eve. Then my character's character's character can log in and...  And, if I might raise my nerd flag so much, I actually accomplished this in an AD&D game on more than one occasion... |

I like this idea. CCP could make money by marketing "PS3" controllers that connect to the PC (or mac, whatever) which allow you to play dust within EVE. Obviously this might be a bad idea (since hacking is easy), but alternatively, add an entirely new class of gaming... maybe you could control robotic air units (that are very expensive) from captains quarters to help the Dustmites... using a custom CCPmote. I have a hard time imagining incarna without mini games of some kind, but if Aurum is involved the slippery slope known as microtransactions has really begun since it would no longer be "vanity items only". |

TW is the ultimate space simulator  And one of the first "MMOs", there were a host of others from the same period, but it's in the precursor to the MMO category. Unless you are 30+ yrs old, you probably would have never encountered it :P |

why? if you want to play tetris while playing eve ... buy a second monitor, play in windowed mode, or for the love of good grab your cell phone. Why why why would anyone want ccp to spend development dollars on redundant crap that can already be done in or out of eve? really? /emote implodes... |
