Why a new thread.
With CQ being deployed on Sisi allot of the previous issues should have been dealt with but new ones have startd showing up.

While i could only get on for like 5 min. A couple issues looked fixed and a major one got rebroke.

Broken Now;

Sitting in the coach leaves a ghost shadow of you and where you just where, mirrored 180' also I could not exit the coach. Only undocking reset the CQ.

What else have you guys found that is broke this time?
How do the other races CQ look.

-CQ needs a stop command "spacebar" linked to the double click mouse go where I double click usability, so you can control where you stop. This is badly needed becouse you cannot tell where you are going while using it exept ou are moving in a specifuice direction if there is a stop command then you can just click in the direction you want to go.

-PI screen did not work for me locks up did not load.

-Starting a new character disabled the audio.

Well i noticed something silly with the framerate in stations with old station GUI enabled. That is, if you have it on you lose a ton of FPS.
I get 33 fps with UI enabled and 50 with it disabled. I cant believe a simple UI (esp now that its been "carbonized") is such a resource hog. Flying around in space i didnt notice any difference with UI on or off.

DESPERATELY needs the (don't) "load station environment" button back! My default, this new **** makes it more needed.

Maybe fun for a spin once (Well actually, it wasn't), after that I want my quiet GFX card fan and the static station display back. PLEASE RECONSIDER THIS CCP. Making us unable to turn off the 3d graphics while docked is a serious mistake, hurts especially people who run multiple accounts. And the interior has *nothing* to do with playing the actual game after all...

it seriously needs a button to disable the CQ stuff, already miss seeing my ship in hangar.
Also not beeing able to double click a random spot while docked and having it open your cargo hold is very annoying

you should be able to right click the 3d ui buttons and open a windows to set hotkeys.

because right now you have to wait for the CQ to load to open the cargo bay.

Thanks for making this post, we appreciate feedback but we really appreciate bug reports even more ;)

The ghost render frame after sitting down has already been fixed internally.

not tried this build yet but judging from the Duelity build which the issues i have most likely have not yet been addressed... the keyboard movement is clunky you cant strafe so you cant move your camera and then use the left and right keys if you so desire to move/turn its just difficult to control via the keyboard. two button mouse works fine but we really need better keyboard controlls. also the camera sensitivity adjustment for incarna is very nice BUT why can we not have a camera adjustment slider for sensitivity "outside" as well? if they have the forsight to do it for interiors why not add it for exteriors (ship view) too?

also maybe this is to save memory and such but charecter faces dont look quite as nice nearly as they do in the charterer creator :-p

but so far pretty nice...

Thanks. Ed: I just instinctively looked at "shortcuts" and "general", it didn't feel like a graphics option...

But please do reconsider the static background option for those of us who like our station environment as resource light as possible - obviously you are now moving on from "ship spinning" (a sad day in and unto itself) so it has to be the avatar in the quarters- picture but still, make the option for a no 3d background available... Please!

i found another fun thing, i MUST play in EVERYTHING low/disabled to dock/get into CQ, otherwise my graphiccards just totally freaks out and can't load CQ, i still don't understand why anyone wants this build tbh? it adds nothing more in my eyes and you only need a better PC.
but if my graphic card can't handle this on TQ when it comes out(through a disable CQ option or whatever), then i'm gonna stop with eve =/

edit: i also noticed that loading the log in screen now takes like 20 seconds longer than it took with incursion -_-

another edit: my capital turrets are inviseble, so fun =/ also everyone elses capital turrets aren't shown, anything smaller than capital turret is shown however

The old GUI is the new GUI too, all the incarna UI does is open the old one. So the resource hog is probably the client trying to run the same UI twice. Which is yet another argument for separating stuff you do in your spaceship, and stuff you do in CQ.
It becomes more and more evident as time goes on that CCP should have stuck to their original plan and kept our old station hangers, and simply added a station button to enter CQ.

Plus why haven't you fixed the 'can only have 50 fittings' issue yet?

On undocking an error message pops up saying:

Just realised the first change that the very annoying being forced into incarna has had on the way i do things. I regularly right click on my ship in the current station view in order to open cargo or perform any of the other available tasks. Dont get me wrong i can access all those functions elsewhere it just takes time and is very very annoying and bad design to have to unnecessarily open up more windows to access something. All because of some feature that has no content and to be frank as it stands i could not give a **** about. It reminds me of the payment system we use at work where they updated the whole system and made it look neat but the actual functionality and responsiveness of the system deteriorated, a redesign should never force someone to take more steps the reach the same goal.

Also it took substantially longer to login following character selection.

Like most patches i suspect the biggest **** storm will come on the day of release when all those people that did not really realise what was happening find out.

Oh and ship spinning is far better than meat spinning.

Edit: It may be worth pointing out with the payment system story that they were forced to add an option to use the old version because of the amount of discontent following the changes.

Found same glitch with ghosted CQ interior happen to me, also it happens while entering and leaving Character Customizing.

the rotating part of the strip miner II stops rotating after some time
the picture of the capital tractor beam is zoomed out a lot
the little rotating bit on the front of the salvager II jumps in its rotation
all types of miner don't change the turret when turning the ship and in mid cycle ending in the turret shooting though the ship
sometimes turrets are too slow to track ending in the shots being fired sidewards i.e. the muzzle flash animation not being aligned with the barrel

Same thing for me, I just CAN'T LOAD the game, I just can't even get in the character option. If it reminds as it is on TQ then I will have to quit the game, and I have 4 accounts. I will be sad.

Few things worth noting which happened in my testing session:

repackaging remotely
-> (ship) icon disappears in personal assets
-> number of items stays correct
-> reappears after undock / redock or heavily delayed
sell items
-> information on sell window heavily delayed or in some cases not responding at all when first opened
-> no problems when opened for a second time
Please visit your user settings to re-enable images.
double sell item orders in sell window
-> two items simultaneously in sell window? working as intended?

fps
-> 60 fps on TQ all the time
-> 35 fps on SISI CQ - first time CQ
-> 60 fps on SISI CQ - after undock /redock second time CQ

ghost images appear
-> after entering CC twice and back to CQ

A few observations regarding Changing ships.

1. I'd love to get a "list" of ships next to the "Open Ship hangar" button at the ships graphic if I have hidden all the rest of the UI (Ctrl-F9)

2. The message we get when trying to select a ship too soon after another selection or docking should not refer to entering the ships, as it makes little sense when we are on the balcony looking at the ship. Instead it might be better to refer to the current ship still being towed into place (and perhaps having the hangar graphics reflect this), though I'd rather have the 20-30 second delay removed.

3. When hovering the mouse on the floating representation of the selected ship, it would be "nice" to have the graphics show a "silhouette" of the fittings as well.

Notes on PI.

When doing PI from the screen in the CQ, it would be more "intuitive" or at least provide a better sense of immersion, had the PI UI been ON that screen, and not opening up as it does now, taking up the entire screen.

That pretty much goes for all the screens that can be accessed from the CQ panels.

At least they could give the option to only load the "balcony" and place the pilot there.

But what would be the point? The ship-spinning view is already in the game, all they need to do is keep it (and add a buttan for CQ/Incarna).

Walking around the CQ and occasionally clicking things I have the entire client crash to desktop at times - submitted a few logs for a bug report.

Tried to test spaceship. Could not see spaceship(black squares over whatever 3D scene there's meant to be), could not undock, "Message: 'UndockWithApparel' Args: {}". Closed client and relaunched it using launcher, got nothing after the splashscreen.

Tried killing processes and launching again a few times. Eventually a login screen again.

Still more black squares all over CQ once it loaded. 60ish FPS. Click horrid orange ship hologram, Open Ship Hanger.

Hear "Warp Drive Active"... ORLY?

Alt+tabbing out and back results in a completely black CQ, but the specific options UI tree menu thing appears when I mouse over said nasty hologram again.
FPS has bombed to 20ish.
WTF is ExitSofa & EnterSofa?

Clicking yes to undock error gets me in space, 45-50 FPS.

Redocking I'm not back in the same place, FPS 30ish and I look like a Doom 3 zombie.

Alt+tab and FPS is down to 20ish but slowly recovers to 30ish, everything 3D is black again except some blue eliptical lights.
Undock button won't give any popup or boot me into space. Quit.

1st: Camera location adjusts with Zoom when using two monitors.
2nd: Sounds from NPC's attach to you and stay with you until you relog. Probably allot of other things attach in this way too leading to the CTD some claim to have.
3rd: weapon upgrades like gyro's and Tracking enhancers have opposite or worse effects when fitted in station and undocking. Onlining them in space seems to work correctly.
4th: Modules(Cloak, gun, armor rep, sensor booster) do not deactivate, if you activate your cloak for example you'd need to fly to some thing to decloak and it's unable to reactive it, stuck in the deactivateing animation(flashing red).
5th: message before you undock, seems to be a place holder no real issue there.
6th: "Warp drive active" when activating the mirror to enter char customisation, probably another place holder.
7th: Activating PI screen would lockup in "loading planet resources" to get back i had to Esc > click system button go to planets and select view in planet mode and I was back on station.

Docking with the star map open renders the UI and the CQ unusable. Undocking partially restores the UI, but the star map can no longer be activated and the world map control panel permanently stays on screen.
